You are a saucy minx, I'll give you that. There's almost no way he doesn't go to USC, but it's nice to be in the mix.

Bru McCoy at WR is legit. If he wants to play WR, he could be a high NFL pick at WR. If he wants to play defense, you let him play there. If he can go both ways, let him mix into the rotations. His film reflects these capabilities too. He's worth the hype.

The opposite can be said of Tongue. You let him play WR for a year if he requires it in order to sign. He won't hurt you there, but he's a potential NFL LB and that will be played out by the time he leaves the campus, whether at UGA or Texas.

Well duh, I'm Latina, so I was born saucy.  Aren't there women on this board?  We have a big circle of us that follow recruiting like bat-shit crazy die-hards, that consider signing day a national holiday, and live and die by every win and loss.

Cooking and feeding a bunch of guys with connections to the program on game day, and on the boards, we pick up great info along the way, form long time friendships with guys in the recruiting business.

Come on Princess, this is the Surl. You are expected to rule out 'turns and curves' and put your ovaries on the table with your pick. You can't say you would be 'shocked' if Bru doesn't choose USC and then trot back and act like SHOCK doesn't rhyme with LOCK.

Haha.....good thing that "locks" like De'Anthony Thomas and DeSean Jackson stuck with USC.......oh, wait.

You all but have guaranteed he's going to USC repeatedly here...which means you're trolling us.

Come on guys, you're more sophisticated than that....recruiting can change on a dime, and I've stated repeatedly that there is no such thing as a LOCK.  All I have ever said about Bru is that (according to knowledgeable sources) it would be a shock if Bru chose another college other than USC.

All I'm reporting is what I heard.  He really likes Texas.  It will be difficult to pull him as of now, but that can change at any time.

Following recruiting is big boy business, you have to be prepared for all it turns and curves. I'm reporting on the interest.

I hate trolls, and have little patience for them, if you don't realize that by now, you haven't been paying attention.  The only thing I attempt to provide is the SoCal slant, nothing more, nothing less.

Usc should figure out who his source was that leaked it, and also supposedly said it was ok to post.

I seriously doubt it was someone out of USC.  Scott  Schrader (he missed on only one projection in the 2018 class) projected Chris to USC in October, Greg Biggins just posted on Premium that Chris was as close to a lock for USC as it can get.  He put 2 plus 2 together, it wasn't hard.  The interviews with Chris after his official this weekend sounded like a commitment video.

Swanson took a calculated guess, and lost, that's what he does....he has been barred from the USC campus before, and now because of this leak, parents of recruits, the recruits and our current players are blocking him on Twitter as well as denying him access.

by the way, Oklahoma was never really in it, liking a visit (he liked all his visits) is far from actually wanting to attend the school.

This barely counts as UT news at this point, but it's the dead period. Looks like some asshole reporter stole Chris Steele's thunder:

The guy is a prick.  He just had numerous players and parents block him, and by extension, Rivals.

I'll agree with the Princess here.  Now don't get me wrong I love me some Longhorn stomping the $ooners in the Cotton Bowl games but not sure we ever made them literally beg for the game to be over ala Dan Cody begging Matt Leinart in that 2005 Orange Bowl.  Dan Cody embarrassed his entire family with that one.

It wasn't just Cody, Matt said there were several defensive players shouting out to "just end it now",  and Jason White said in an interview that "number 58" (Lofa Tatupu) was calling out the offensive plays before he could, the Trojan defense knew exactly the next play call.

Although my avatar is of a USC player, I felt it was fitting on this site, that it be a flexing Lofa over the body of Jason White.  Lol.

He did just OV there. He's very media savvy and when he says what an analyst wants to hear ....

He's going to USC. If he does pull any shens it'll be to head to OU with his 7on7 bros. You also have to read almost anything from the Gator guys like it's written by Aggy and right now they are getting hammered by FSU on the trail. Everyone in Florida is trending away from UF and toward FSU (or the Canes). Clemson, UGA, and Bama are also doing their part. This could simply be a matter of a kid saying the right thing, but them also 9.95ing up some clicks because it's bleak as fuck on the in-state front for the Gators right now.

Chris genuinely likes the Gators...but this recruitment is very much like Adoree’ Jackson’s, he will say all the right things, but he was at USC Monday for a few hours, then from 2:00 - 7:00pm the next day, then will return for the Rising Stars camp to hang out with our coaches.  Every school he visits, thinks he will sign with them.

of course, every one has a chance, but he recently said in a premium interview, (paraphrasing) that he wants to go to a school where he’ll be exposed to corporate entrepreneurs, “the next Bill Gates” and would feel he has wasted an opportunity by surrounding himself with football players only.  Los Angeles works against us in many cases, not this one.

Yea, pretty sure we want him going to USC. OU is far more of a player there than we are.

How about student safety.  Not many large universities are located right in the heart of the second most densely populated cities in the country.

Over 50% of those spoiled bitches volunteer in and around the surrounding community, winning College of the Year in 2000 for it's extensive community services.  Survival.

Haven't most USC recruiting classes been that way? I remember Sark after Dark pulling in a ton of talent late one of the years he was there.

That's because most of the top 4 & 5* recruits in our area want to wait till LOI day.  Clay also puts zero pressure on these kids to commit early, encourages them to take all their visits.  It can and has worked against us.

LA has high taxes, traffic, and english is the second language. oh, and traffic. who could want more.

USC created their own little city within the city type thing, no reason for any student to wander the surrounding neighborhoods, (Which I've heard incoming Freshmen are warned about) just uber to the best parts of LA, then back to campus.

You are spot on.  USC provides free uber to all students.  There is also free shuttles to L.A. Live that picks up and drops off at the school.

The university just completed the USC Village across the street that is mixed use of student housing, residential colleges, retail stores, restaurants and other specialty businesses.  Trader Joe's, Target, Wahlburgers and Trejo's Tacos are just a few of the businesses within the Village.

LOL at Austin as a quaint, down home vibe...  The bullshit that these 9.95er's spew is comical.

Surprised you would think this was anything but a compliment.......something USC can never compete with.

As much as L.A. can attract players, it works equally against us.

I loved Austin for those same reasons, but I did feel it had a young, hip vibe that would make it a great place to live for 3-4 years.
