Haha, big oops.
A buddy is a software developer for Kohl’s and they’ve been working all night to fix the glitch. They had 12,000 consoles in stock and the inventory system didn’t deduct sold units from inventory and they took in over 150,000 orders. Oops. -
So, returning as a player... right?Timmy not coming back as coach

QuoteThere Will Be No PS5s in Stores on Launch Day
Sony announced today that it will not be offering the PlayStation 5 for sale at retail store locations on its November 12 launch day. Instead, interested customers will need to order the new console online.
“In the interest of keeping our gamers, retailers, and staff safe amidst COVID-19, today we are confirming that all day-of launch sales will be conducted through the online stores of our retail partners,” Sony’s Sid Shuman writes in the announcement post. “No units will be available in-store for purchase on launch day (November 12 or November 19, depending on your region) [so] please don’t plan on camping out or lining up at your local retailer on launch day in hopes of finding a PS5 console for purchase. Be safe, stay home, and place your order online.”
Yikes.
I guess that’s understandable, but I also suspect this has as much to do with supply as it does with public safety. After all, each retailer handles the social distancing requirements themselves, and this is not something Sony should have to even think about.
And on that note, Mr. Shuman does note that gamers who pre-ordered the PS5 for pick-up at a retailer “should still be able to do so at their designated appointment time, under the retailer’s safety protocols.”

I'm playing on Xbox and am really enjoying it. There are games where I get completely destroyed, probably because I'm playing against some PC VR players, and then some other games where my team dominates the other team because we actually work together and call out enemies and have one player use ion lasers to disable then another player follow them up to kill them.
I tried searching for only xbox players once and after 2 minutes I gave up, couldn't find enough players to fill a match. So, went back to crossplay and found a match within seconds. I guess there's a lot more PC players than xbox players right now. -
Best Buy got some more in stock and I was able to snag a Series X preorder just now. Took multiple tried to add it to the cart, but it finally worked.
-
Tried at Best Buy, they didn't even go live until an hour after they said they would, and then I had it in my cart and each time I tried to checkout it would say "we encountered an error. Try again in a few moments." Kept trying for 30+ minutes and then got the notice that they were sold out. So, no go for me this time.
I'll just wait and try to pick one up at some point before Halo launches.

Picked it up last night and it's great! I'm getting frustrated a bit because I used to know where each collectible in each level was, but I'm having trouble remembering their locations now. Also, I'm definitely not as good at this game as I used to be. Still loads of and and I'm looking forward to being able to complete all the objectives in a level in a single run like I used to be able to on N64.

Same. I'm tempted to just wait until Halo comes out before getting the Series X. Might get a PS4 for cheap to play all those games I've never played before.

Is it selfish that I want to watch these guys in the playoffs?
I know this is an uninspired Rockets team but I swear we are getting better as the season progresses.
not selfish. I want the playoffs right now too. Sure, it hurts our draft positioning, but watching these guys right now is a lot of fun.

Halo Infinite pushed to 2021, which is probably the best decision for the game to make sure it's as good as it can be when it launches, but that leaves Microsoft with basically no first party launch titles for the Series X now.

Just need to stop them a few times and the Spurs can win this.

You know Pop's serious when he takes off the mask.

Alright, let's go win em all!
GSG! -
Free-to-play multiplayer confirmed, and 120fps on Xbox Series X! Of course, I don't even know if my TV supports 120fps... I guess I should look into that.
