Dude's gonna bruise his hand clutching those pearls that hard.

SI and ESPN were clearly on the wrong side of the attempted Seppuku of the college football season. Dead wrong there so time to find the next thing to find appalling.

Tom Herman is determined to make his life more difficult and it makes no sense. There have been plenty of instances in his tenure where the offense goes away from something that is working. Usually that's schematic and schematic advantages can be fleeting. But when you have clearly the best player on the field by a wide margin there is no excuse to not make him the focal point of the offense.

I don't love, but can get behind the idea of the running back rotation for a couple of series. In a perfect world both backs are cooking and you don't need to run Bijan 20+ times to win. It was evident after four series last night that Bijan had it and Ro did not. From that point forward Ro should've only gotten carries to spell Bijan when he was tired.

Colorado was never winning this game. Texas was just flat out the better, more talented team so it's so dumb that it was a seven point game at halftime when Texas could've blown the doors off of them early. Again, it wasn't going to make a difference last night, but it's shit like this that causes games that shouldn't be close to be closer and close games to be losses. Take the easy way out. It's totally ok!

It is crazy how many coaches you see going away from things that work. They see safeties creeping forward or an extra LB on 2nd and 4 and cannot resist the inclination to outsmart a defense by throwing for example. I believe that the really good coaches fight that urge and recognize that at the end of the day if you are patient and have to horses the name of the game is still to demoralize your opponent and impose your will. Dictate terms rather than react to them. Having better players helps of course but perfect execution is another way to skin the cat.

Judging from the pics and assuming they’re recent, the Ags have done a lot of work on the campus. It looks better than it used to

Double take. Thought that was the Pepperdine campus or UC Santa Barbara for a sec.

Uh, not to get cloaky, but our senior Senator tweeted this pic today and called it "brisket."

Is he going to be doing these things on Christmas Day, this weekend, or before his flight leaves on Monday?  Hope he’s in Houston if he’s in Texas, as I think that’s the only same day in-person passport processing office in the state.

You can get it handled same day in Dallas now as we discovered when denied clearance on a vacation to Italy last year. I made the same mistake. Girlfriend in charge of passports. Her papers were still valid but Italy required some months grace period before expiration. She cut it too close. I spent 4 hours at the airport guarding a Zsa Zsa Gabor level luggage count while she spent the day downtown. To the credit of the airline (Delta or American, I forget) they squared us away on an evening departure for no penalty.

    FOIA requests!

I urge everyone to make FOIA requests in relation to each institution and their discussions with any committee member. Just as we saw with FIFA, there is too much money to not have one or a few of them taking kickbacks and bribes. It's time we blow the system up and prove fraudulent behavior. Let's go lawyer Ags, do something useful as I am. These are public universities and all communications are bound under these requests. Let's ****ing go and let's actually see some real meaningful change.

I love these blowhard posts. Probably shutting down his aggy directed Amazon Smiles donations until he get satisfactory answers.

  7. aggy fans chirping about the “chip” they will now be playing with next year and beyond and how this disrespect sets the edge for the push next year and beyond. Only the most enlightened aggy understand that this was it. This was the run and what 75mm buy ought ya. An almost made the playoffs in a Covid clusterfuck disaster year. Raise the banner.

Also - am I the only person that noticed that there should've been 0:01 left on the clock after the safety?  It was clear as day - even in real time when I was yelling at my TV, but when you review on DVR it was almost 0:02 left.  We should've had time to kick one of those hard onside kicks like we did in 2009 vs Alabama.  With any luck we recover and score, or get a defensive penalty and have an untimed down.  Don't forget - TCU already committed a penalty and I still can't figure out why it wasn't enforced.

    Maddening!

Not that is matters now but this is how it was explained to me by a retired college linesman and now part time high school referee. If I understood him correctly the holding is taught and practiced in exactly that situation of a few seconds remaining with the intentional safety executed when leading by more than 2 because It puts the defense that scored the safety in a catch 22. They can accept the penalty and take the points off the board but as it was a live action play and not dead ball you lose the time. In this instance tcu would rerun the play with only 1 second instead of 6, either kneeled or walked out the back of the end zone again with zero on the clock. It is essentially a freebie hold that well coached teams are taught to give the QB more time to burn. The key is the defense doesn’t get their time back and the goal is to bring the clock to zero while you execute the play and hold at the same time.

Also he said that their was clearly 1 second left and Texas should have either accepted the penalty and made then rerun the play with 1 second left and hope for a fumble return, or declined the penalty and fair caught the punt from the 20. Herman did neither. He had two ways to fight for that if he had know the rules.  This former lineman did say he hadn’t been on a college field in 25 years. The rules may have changed. Maybe he’s wrong.

Florida State’s revenue & expense numbers look pretty shady.  Several others also with zero net income.  What up with that?

Many privates choose not to disclose the expense side of the equation. They will advertise revenue to project wealth and success. These charts often show the private schools with revenue equal to expense to avoid confusing information.

Damn  , I dared scroll through a bit of that QAnon thread on TexAgs, as mentioned people thinking something is up cause the Airforce flew over their house and this totally sane gem about the reptilians

Ok so just cogitating on this a little. So what if extraterrestrial beings/reptilians were actually children of the sons of God and daughters of men referenced in Genesis 6:1-4? Are the extraterrestrial beings actually demons/fallen angels? Satan is often referenced to as the serpent, hence the Vatican/Satanist meme in the article above. Q saying this is going to be biblical. Just hope Jimbo brings us home a natty before its all over.

I will take Dolores Liucci out for a nice Plucker's dinner and never call her again.

Serious question---what was the wing joint that they used to take A&M recruits to and then they'd make fun of Mack Brown for taking guys to Ruth's Chris?

I think it’s damn Wings n More or something like that. One of the cornerstone bars in college station. aggy Mark Dennard tried to open one in Midland but it crapped out.
