  1. The problem with the officiating is that the worst calls all resulted in points for Vandy or taken away from Texas. Obvious PI would have been at least a FG but likely a td. 2 pt conversion. Tackle our DE on Pavia’s run. This is at least 8 points and possibly 16 that Texas got fucked out of. This isn’t counting what might have happened without the “hit out of bounds” or the ridiculous false start. This level of ineptitude fucks with the integrity of the game.

  2. Get to the game at least 3 hrs early and enjoy Bevo Blvd or buy tickets to the Surly tailgate. Try a good south Texas breakfast taco in the morning. Matt’s is awesome and has a large parking lot but it can still get crowded. Dirty Martins is a staple near campus for great bar food and laid back atmosphere, Posse East is another old school Austin bar(some food) to have a few beers and meet some locals. Going to Scholz is never a bad choice either.

  3. Blood pressure is up just thinking about it, these dudes were flexing because they had girlfriends with legit seats behind them. They said someone was in their seats so they’re not moving now. Threats didn’t work until we finally got someone official involved. It’s one of the reasons I didn’t go this year. I won’t mention it again, it happened, it’s over. Sorry if I got a little testy, rant over.

So you want CDC to man your section next time or what?  Once again sorry a $12 a hour part time employee failed you.  It’s life, deal with it.  It’s not CDC’s problem.  Also don’t buy student section tickets if you don’t want to put up with students….   No way this happens and no says anything anywhere else.

Fuck off, it wasn’t student section. I want to sit in my seat for $200. CDC is in charge of fan experience. He has meetings with Cotton Bowl people to improve things. He’s exactly the person who needs to know. Other people in my section were yelling at squatters on the stairs. There were almost multiple fights, that’s not ok.

He was supposedly back from injury and ready to go and looking good blah blah blah then got hurt again. Don’t think they are sharing what’s going on if it’s same injury came back or something new. Either way he’s been a great Longhorn and I hope he gets to contribute because he’s been an awesome teammate.

Last I heard it was a hamstring.

I mean while it’s cool he called you back actually that’s shit below him that he can’t stop.  People are going to try to move seats. It happens.  The one guy making $12 a hour working your section can’t stop everyone.

I have a job that I will lose if I fight some fucksticks and get arrested. I was dealing with about 5 frat dudes that were trying to impress their girlfriends. They were adamant they weren’t moving. My wife saw my rage and was frantic trying to find someone to help. Two ushers just walked away and one showed up towards the end of the first quarter when I was chest to chest with the loudest of the dipshits. They were finally forced to move. That’s not what I expect when I buy $200 tickets. Somebody has to be responsible.

Yall make sure and pass along your comments to our AD. They’ll meet with the City for after-action review. CDC will do what he can to make sure things are improved.

Some of you need to change your own routines to help yourself. You can’t help when you have to go to the restroom, but you can buy multiple bottles/cans of whatever before the game.

And I agree that people loitering in the concourse or the aisles or jamming into sections makes other people’s lives hell. At the top of my section, a guy kept making people sitting in the aisles leave. Stadium staff did almost nothing to handle the issue because they didn’t want to get pushback.

I have to say, I called the AD’s office last year and complained about the issue. CDC called me back personally while I was driving somewhere. It was blue toothed to my radio and my kids were very impressed, they’d have never believed me if they hadn’t heard it. We talked for about 5 minutes and he told me he’d do what he could at the upcoming meetings but we’re kind of at the mercy of workers who are underpaid and apathetic at best. My suggestion was to at least have people who were solely in charge of removing squatters.

  8. Wasn’t able to make it this year but did anyone have trouble with squatters in your seats, that shit drives me insane especially when they argue with you or try the ol’ someone is in my seat. No they’re not, you don’t have a ticket, and if they are tell them to move. I almost got in a physical altercation because of this shit and questioned whether it was worth it to come back. Fuck it, hopefully I’ll be there next year, I promised my daughter.

True. A clean game like that with Wisner running like that and the defense playing like yesterday, Texas can beat anyone. I still don't understand what happened to the D in Gainesville.

We played like we were afraid to get beat deep because Muhammad was out. Playing 5-10 yd cushions against a struggling qb was a terrible game plan to begin with. It allowed Lagway easy throws to gain confidence. It also looked like we were playing to contain the pocket rather than rush the passer. Lagway was already limited. That was another mistake. If you game plan bend but don’t break tactics it tends to limit aggressiveness. Defensively it looked like we were playing not to lose.

Eberflus is a fucking clown and was a terrible hire. That's the issue, learning his terrible scheme won't help anything. In fact, probably will make them regress. It was a perfect storm. Terrible coach working with bottom tier talent and this is the result we get. Our defense single handedly made some think Russell Wilson was going to have a comeback season.

This is where I’m at, why hire the Bears epic mistake? This guy sucks!

We seal fresh ones all the time with no issues.  You can fit two whole ones in an 8" bag if you interlock them and they will stack well in the freezer.  You don't have to freeze ahead of time.

This is correct, we make 50 lbs at the end of deer season , smoke overnight, place in bags and seal for the next year. I’ve never had any issues with anything going bad. I’ve found some two yrs old that I thought I ate, cooked it and it was great.

  12. I noticed Stroh got replaced yesterday. Everyone with eyes has seen that issue for 4 weeks but we decide to finally address it in our conference opener mid game. Shit’s infuriating. Best player plays and move on.
I also thought we were going to play tighter coverage as a defense. It looked like we were scared of getting burned without Muhammad so we went back to 5 yard cushions. We gave a struggling qb easy throws and he made them. If we continue to play this defensive style with our current offense we’re fucked.
