Tell us you know nothing about the SEC without telling us.  Auburn is a cool college town, that is really growing.  Its close to his home and has National Championship potential.  Chizik won there, go figure.  As did Gus and Tuberville. There is plenty of money at Auburn, SEC in general. You may be confusing AU with Miss St.  Gameday there is exceptional, they recruit FL/GA heavily and always have athletes.  Auburn in general has a very good rep in the south, where he is from and is plenty well capitalized.  They arent UGA or UF of course in NIL potential, but they will do fine. IMO most of us Texas fans are going to be surprised about the SEC in terms of the draw to places like Auburn, Ole Miss Columbia etc.. I dont think the deep south is quite like we remember, 66% of the incoming Freshman at Bama were from out of state.

You seem triggered. I know plenty about the SEC. Most of the time a school as bad as Auburn has been recently has trouble getting recruits to buy in and commit. They currently have the 11th ranked class in the country and are contending for KJ Lacey and Ryan Williams. Hugh Freeze has a history of recruiting fuckery so I made a joke. Lighten up Francis.

  2. Penix played well but many of the long completions could have been deflected or even intercepted if we just turn our heads around. Joseph can recruit but I’m not sold on him as a coach. Most of our penalties were self inflicted but someone earlier referred to them as “all legit”. The illegal block call on Watts was complete horseshit.

  3. This place is the tits! I’ve been here since near the beginning. The “Bringing a picture to a job interview” thread was the kind of shenanigans that drew me here. This place is special because of the crazy personalities that are allowed to exist in the space. $3.50 a month is not much and $10.00 for Burnt ends is a couple of beers a month. We should be able to fund a large portion of NIL just from this place alone. I echo the sentiments of all who have praised immamac, you’re the unsung hero here plus all the behind the scenes guys. Please everyone do what it takes to keep this site strong. I’m not talented enough to post the cutting edge content but I give my measly $13.50 a month to try to do something. This is the most unique fan site that exists, do what you can to support it.

The cost of a Texas "future" on SItickets is down to 640. This would put you at 1240 total after paying for the ticket. I can't imagine that you'll be able to get in cheaper than that without getting pretty lucky if Texas is in the game.

I went to their website and looked for this option. School me on this please. How do you purchase a future?

  5. There are a lot of newish places that popped up around UTSA but I don’t frequent that area much. If you’re into ramen, Nama Ramen is pretty good. I took my daughter there recently because that’s her thing.

No being an asshole (well, at least not intentionally…)

But there were 6 home games, and assuming a “few” is more than a “couple” that’s missing at least half of the games.

Not exactly a pity situation here.

No pity wanted. I wasn’t sure at the time but to clarify he missed one game that he didn’t want to miss because it was his little sister’s birthday. He made the right choice.

My kids tell me that students who went to all home games were given priority. They had blown off one of the crappy 11:00 start games so they were out of luck.

My son said if you confirmed a ticket for a game but didn’t go, there was some kind of penalty so there were a few he didn’t make because he came home for some family stuff. Oh well.

Reading the actual department release it wasn’t 20k student requests, just that they have 20k students with the big ticket who could/a portion of them did request.

    Big ticket + foundation member

    My son is both, denied

I wonder how many actually went to students?
