Don’t expect Janiah Barker since she would have to sit out a year due to transferring within the SEC..

Would be much better if the lettering was white and the wide border was burnt orange. This would provide better and easier clarity for out of bounds and give greater contrast between the playing court and the out of bounds. 🤘🤘🤘

I wouldn't put too much stock in that one. The player clock is new, it is early in the year, the clock start time was very inconsistent all night. Alyssa Washington steps out of the box and removes her gloves and meanders around and yet never got a call against her. Atwood backed out of the box, took a sign from the coach and got back in and was charged with the 10 second violation. It was a ticky tack call that you won't see more than 10 times all year, if you watch a lot of softball.
I had the same thought at the time of the call that it was a ticky tack call. Felt that the ump was placing his priority a little above his wage rate. Don’t think it was a very appropriate time to make such a critical/crucial call.

Another thing about the Stanford game last night involving a lack of focus or a brain fart is when Atwood was batting with runners in scoring position and 2 strikes. She was called out for not being in the batter’s box by the time the pitch clock reached the 10 second mark. Although we have no idea what would have happened if she had not made such an egregious mistake, it is a mental error that should never happen!!! 🤘

Oklahoma City and Norman are basically the same city. Basically the same as going from Austin to Pflugerville.

What’s the story with Bella Dayton? Is she injured? I know she was used as a pinch runner in one of the games in Clearwater.

West Virginia defeats Texas 1 - 0. Doesn’t bode well for our future. No excuses for our pathetic showing in the conference tournament.

The point at 1:03:13 is incredible. Fleck and #45 keeping the ball alive and then the roof to finish it off. I'm not sure who #45 is as there is no #45 on the roster. Maybe another spare jersey situation hah
45 is Bergmark. She transferred in from Cal.

Why would his age matter? He's not a RB about to turn 30.
Calling Ron McKelvey…lol🤣. HOOK’EM 🤘

Wish we could have hijacked the WCWS photo ticket that was made for Arkansas. We could have taken a permanent marker and crossed through the “pig logo” and drawn in our LONGHORN logo !!! We then could have used it to pose for our ncaa WCWS picture having won our Super Regional versus “piggy”!!!
CONGRATULATIONS AND HOOK’EM LADIES!!!!

Just out of curiosity. What’s the story on Lauren Burke? Goes from being a starter to not even getting a pinch hit appearance. She seems to be engaged with what's going on with the team and shows excitement when a teammate does well. Wondering if she might have an injury. Would like to hear what might be happening if someone has more insight to the daily goings on of our softball team.

He should not only be suspended, but should lose any monetary support (scholarship type monies) and be immediately removed from the team. Might even consider he be suspended from the University.

Yes, Bay City. Same HS as Richard Walton, Hart Lee Dykes and LaBradford Smith.
I believe Marvin Krystinik was also from Bay City.

Time for CDC to drag his balls across Plonsky’s face.

Wonder if we might consider working Elish, Iakopo and Ellsworth at first base. If they are willing, bet we could come up with at least 2 of them to become very serviceable and effective first baseman. This would allow for some good position rotation and for designated player rotation.

Only time will tell, but I think we hit a HOMERUN with the hiring of Coach Mike White as our softball coach. He has a fire in his belly and this will lead him and Texas Softball to great success. Just listen to his press conference, and it is easy for one to see the fire and desire this man has to move Texas Softball to greatness.

Have we not considered or contacted Melyssa Lombardi at OU?

Unfortunately, all of our pitchers have suffered with control issues from time to time this year. Mac Morgan and Sophia Simpson more so than the others. We need to know that when you, as a pitcher, are called on that you will be dependable almost every time you go to the mound and you will be able to command control and location of your pitches. Everybody will experience an off night from time to time, but you have to be able to minimize those outings.
