  1. If Trump kicks the bucket in the next few weeks because COVID wasn't done with him, an everlasting conspiracy theory will spring to life:

Trump hadn't felt so good in decades and then he dies? Right before the election? The Deep State killed him! Because they knew he was going to win and...

I am rarely going to be the person to cut Trump any slack, but......understanding that he not be good at the English, MY read of what he was saying is that 1) Biden's plan will ruin the suburbs, and 2) that doesn't just hurt white folks, it hurts EVERYONE, including minorities (who are 30% of the population of the burbs).

IT could also be interpreted the other way, because, again....he no talk good.  But I really think my interpretation is what he was trying to communicate.  Of course, the fact that he has absolutely piss away his credibility on any matter of race does him no favors.

Trump modified his initial "Biden is going to destroy the suburbs" attack because people pointed out his perception of the suburbs was dated. Because it was obviously a fear-based appeal based on race.* No different than him crying "A caravan is coming!" and rolling out troops to the border in 2018. Funny how before it was Biden and low-income housing that was going to destroy the suburbs it was roving gangs of Antifa that were coming to loot and burn them down.

*Trump only modified his attack to acknowledge reailty because the intent of it was to generate more support in the suburbs.

  3. Folks who think Kirk Herbstreit was virtue signaling most likely believe the Propagandist of the United States isn't when he hugs the American flag and makes an issue out of athletes kneeling in protest during the anthem despite him revealing his true colors when he stood next to Putin and sided with him against America..

When he gets close to them his aim is to be intentionally provocative and show he doesn't respect their concerns. Godly man, my ass. Apparently it's difficult to find burnt orange Longhorn gear in Alaska.

    Did I say that? No.

Also, I saw today texas hit the double digit of 10 deaths. Somebody look up how many deaths happen on texas roadways per day and get back to me on road closures because of it. Apparently car wreck deaths arent important enough to close roads.

Texas now has 15 deaths. What percentage of cars on the road result in a fatality each day?

COVID-19 cases in Dallas County took a massive jump from Tuesday to Wednesday with 78 new cases of the virus confirmed along with the county's sixth and seventh deaths.

County health officials said the additional cases brings the county's total number of infected to 247, an overnight increase of 46%.

  7. Trump constantly shifts blame and attention. Throwing nearly a million people out of work and inconveniencing the people they serve is a small price to pay to distract from his Secretary of Defense resigning (b/c Trump acts more favorably towards authoritarians than allies) and the start of actual congressional oversight.

  8. Sears may be down to its last 24 hours. Iconic retailer likely liquidates if no bid comes in tomorrow.

Sears, the 125-year-old icon, has 24 hours to survive.

The employer of more than 68,000 filed for bankruptcy in October. Its last shot at survival is a $4.6 billion proposal put forward by its chairman, Eddie Lampert, to buy the company out of bankruptcy through his hedge fund, ESL Investments. ESL is the only party offering to buy Sears as a whole, people familiar with the situation tell CNBC. Without that bid or another like it, liquidators will break the company up into pieces.

But as Lampert stares down a deadline of Dec. 28 to submit his offer, he is quickly running out of time. As of Thursday afternoon, Lampert had neither submitted his bid, nor rounded up financing, the people familiar said. Should Lampert submit a bid, Sears' advisors would have until Jan. 4 to decide whether he is a "qualified bidder." Only then, could ESL take part in an auction against liquidation bids on Jan. 14.

...the quickly approaching cutoff puts Sears the closest to death it has ever been. Should Lampert miss the deadline, it would put Sears and Kmart on the path to liquidation. That process would take weeks, according to the guidelines laid out by the bankruptcy court. But the process has also already slowly begun, with the retailer weighing the closure of 50 to 80 more stores, CNBC has reported.

Wait a minute.  Brisket is Lou Dobbs?  Mind.  Blown.

"The Republican party today is Donald Trump."

    True.

The "left" today is anyone who doesn't put Donald Trump before the country.

Um, the House is going to flip.

    That's a huge win.

It is. But I wanted to send a message to GOP leadership for not being real leaders. Cornyn is an ass.

Oh yeah, ole Beto was all positives.

    LMAO

Give credit where credit is due. The president turned the fear-mongering up to 11. And campaigned hard for GOP politicians, especially the senate. To protect his own ass. This was a victory for complicity, and a loss for checks and balances.

Beto ran a great race.  Speaking platitudes instead of his actual policies.

    Good job. Good effort.

Speaking positives instead of sowing hate and division.

  14. You spent a lot of time on that post. But not nearly as much time as the president has spent waging a treasonous war on the govt to undermine a counter-intelligence investigation into Russia interfering in a US election - because he has no legit defense.
