In Katy ISD and had signs in my yard for the opposition. Working out front all day and had multiple people walk by, point at our signs and say 'big win last night'. Was good to hear.

I also live in KISD and am really glad that Cross and Redmon won

We were planning a Mediterranean cruise this fall.  I pulled the plug today.

    1.  Was leary of the expense even before the tariff shenanigans.

    2.  Wasn't sure I wanted to be seen as an Ugly American over there right now.

    3.  Even though I was born and raised in the U.S. by parents who were born here and both sets of grandparents were born here, I don't feel like finding out the hard way that Trump and his minions have fucked up even more and I get sent to Greenland as a conscript to help invade.

Sure, that last ones a big stretch but who knows?

Cancelled our month long trip to Spain and Portugal in the Fall for the same reason

  3. Nara Park in Japan. The deer have taught us to bow, then they bow and you give them a deer cracker. One of the coolest things we did there. We also took an underground tour of Osaka which showed us things most tourists don’t see. Tokyo has more Michelin starred restaurants than any other city in the world. Try to go to one or two through the Omakase reservation system( like open table). Go to Tsukiji, the largest fish market in the world

That was very enjoyable. Recording cut off after the Belushi bit from the graveyard. Was there something after that? Sir Paul?

There was better, I know, but Sandler’s song brought the feels. The last two minutes were simply perfect. Loved that.

I saw the last 10 minutes on YouTube. Paul singing the medley from abbey Road and Martin Short thanking everyone from the first cast. Jane and Chevy were on the stage.

  5.  I’m a big fan and I saw the documentary last night. Fantastic and fun. It brought back a lot of memories for me. Saw them in Dallas when I was 16 and paid $4 for the ticket( the going rate in the mid-70s:).

  6. As an old guy who watched the show from the beginning as a 17 year old, the show and this movie spoke to me. It is a fantastic movie and brought me back to those days. It was such a cultural phenomenon and we watched the show every Saturday night and then went out and partied.

  7. Honestly, I thought Parker and Allen were already in. I saw both play and they were great in their prime. Glad they finally made it. Really sorry Allen isn’t alive to enjoy it.

If you really have tons of cards from early 60's to early 70's you've got some money(and they are in VG condition as you say).

find the HOFer Rookie cards first. if you have 71 Bradshaw and 72 Staubach those are nice, a Namath rookie is big but that is early 60's. for baseball 68 Ryan, 63 Rose, 68 Bench, 69 Jackson, 67 Seaver, 73 schmidt

also any "high number series" HOFers(schmidt 73 is a great example, rookie card with high number), don't have to be rookie.  The last series in each set through 1973 are always in shortage in baseball cards because the 5 and dimes stopped ordering them as season ended.

If you have 1972 football cards that are over #263 that is the 3rd set and they are worth good money, even the common players.

Thanks for the info. I'll check.
