SDG gets it. It’s hotter than f*** on the tarmac in Houston. You want to spend as little time as possible on the ground.

I think United’s boarding policy is a little better, but they get very cute, very early with the overhead bins.  Especially on week day, early morning business flights. If you have to check your bag, there’s a good chance you’re going to be late to a meeting.

Air travel by its very nature is terrible. If you’re not flying private or first class, you might as well find the cheapest, fastest flight available. I’ll get flamed, but it’s for this reason that I like Spirit.

Lololol good luck getting anywhere on time on Spirit.

The only reason I like SWA is the convenience of Hobby airport over Bush... Yet I still mostly fly United so I can pick a seat, get an upgrade (with chosen or purchased) and generally not have to deal with chaos of people.

I don't do connections on SWA, but I will on United. SWA connects can be hours. United is usually 70 mins.

But to the original question, the boarding process for SWA doesn't bother me. The seating process does.

  2. First time Tri Tippin on Fo Fos....

    Smoked to 125, then seared...

Kroger had a few on Manager's Special so I grabbed a couple of 2 pounders. I didn't even know Kroger had to tip, much less that they would go "oh, No! Please take these Gray boy..."

This was the first run. They were pre marinated, but I dried them off and added some things.

Hat tip to @ChampKind because he was the first person to intro me to smoked  Tri Tip years ago.

He’ll defend point in a similar fashion to FVV, while logging a lot of stocks

On offense, he’ll play a similar role to White, and he potentially could be one of the best shooters in the league

He's smaller in stature than FVV (who also isn't great at defending PG. But hustles, so I get where you're going)...  And Thompson is probably the PG of the future.

I didn't see Reed play enough to put him out there at PG as a starter.

He will get switched to death.

I saw Knecht play. Knecht is an NBA player.

I don’t think knecht is under consideration at #3. Maybe if Houston trades down with Memphis

Forget the draft spot. Knecht is the better NBA prospect.

And it really depends where you are.

I feel confident I could buy a bottle or more at multiple places tomorrow in west Houston.  YMMV

I can get it every day.  I had no idea. It's good in the hood.

He’s three years older than Sheppard, and would be a sub par defender as a wing

I don't care about him being 23. Late growth spurt means he is less likely to fall off at 30.

Where is Shepard going to play and who is he going to defend? He's going to get moused.

Now, as I said, if Knecht doesn't want to be a better defender than Jalen, then no.

You want to add another 2 guard to split developmental minutes with Green, or are you just totally out on him?

Knecht can play 3. A year behind Dillon Brooks won't hurt.

The future of Amen, Jalen, Dalton, Jabari, Alperen, Cam, Tari does not suck.

If you want a shooter that isn't 6'1 and doesn't take the ball out of Amen's hands as your facilitator, Knecht is the play.

Eta: I'm not convinced Jalen will be consistent, so I'm ok with having his replacement ready to go.

  7. I went to the Coca Cola museum in Atlanta. At the end they have a lobby of soft drink machines with all the different soft drinks and flavors from around the world.

I felt like I was going to die from sugar overdose. Coke raises my blood pressure instantly (I learned this long ago and stopped drinking Coke.)

I like to think that not drinking carbonated sugar waters has kept me from beetus and the plethora of other diseases that seem to plague me and my people... Namely, being a fatass.

Watching the game last night, I was wondering if Derrick White could be the comp for Reed Sheppard, but looking at measurables, Reed just doesn't have nearly the wingspan

It's more like "plays like Derrick White (but maybe an even better shooter), at a slightly larger than Fred VanVleet size"

Is that archetype worth the #3 pick in this draft for Houston?

Dalton Knecht is 6"6", athletic, and can score. If I'm Stone and Udoka, I interview him to see how much he wants to become an elite defender. He was a late bloomer in terms of size, so I'm guessing he worked on scoring more than defending.

I think Knecht will be a better NBA player than Shepard and I would draft Knecht at 3 if I can't trade back.

Yes. He’s one of those idiots who hangs around the fascist white supremacists saying “hey guys, umm, guys, I’m one of you! Isn’t it cool being awesome and superior?” The thing is, he’s being honest - there are plenty of racial supremacists in every culture/region; he’s one of those Persians who looks down on Arabs, tribal afghans, all that stuff. He’s just too dumb to realize that the white supremacists, while they’re happy to have his help for now, don’t even grasp his point of view. He thinks he’s a superior Persian…to them, he’s just another dirty raghead. And in the end, that’s how they’ll end up treating him, as he cries out in anguish “but guys! Guys! I’M ONE OF YOU! DON’T YOU REMEMBER?”
That’s the way it always goes. And he’s too dumb to realize it. Leopards, people’s faces, and all that.

Not trying to justify his words here, but like much of the Internet, our in person interactions were not even close to this.

Maybe it was the copy of Financial Times.

I may be misremembering, but Icono is kinda brown, ain't he?

Welcome to the shitty investors club meeting

Wait until you see my two 99% loss positions in weed stonks when they get closed out. Im still holding since I have nothing else to lose and there is a glimmer of hope..

ZEVY got liquidated, so I took the loss (pussy).

I could have bought a whole BBQ trailer or three.
