Jayda Coleman backed it up by destroying Texas for years and winning championships lol. Shelton may want to try to make the tourney for consecutive seasons.

Coleman and Brito both were elite individual players and champions, but their over-the-top histrionics annoyed me to no end. Jennings I saw as a classier opponent, for what little it's worth. But no one really cares.

How much Shelton really hates Texas I have no idea, but there must be something there for it to have come up in the broadcast. Did Elliott not recruit her? Did her parents or HS coach attend one of our rival schools?

Frede and Ehman were gassing up Shelton all fucking night.  It was kind of annoying.

Sure, she had a good match (22-7-41, 4 blocks, 7 digs) but the whole "she committed to OU and stayed at OU solely to beat Texas" shit was dumb.

    2025 - L 1-3
    2024 - W, 3-2 / L, 0-3
    2023 - L, 0-3 / L, 0-3
    2022 - L, 0-3 / L, 0-3

So congrats girl, you went 1-6 versus Texas in your career and won a whopping 4 sets in 7 matches. Your ass got swept 5 times.

In her own way, she's nearly as annoying as Jayda Coleman was. And that was pretty annoying. Both great players, but the kind any opponent loved to see lose.

arch’s turnaround will happen about the same time we average over 4yrds per carry with the offensive line also providing adequate pass protection.

New qbs don’t show much progress when the game is sped up and windows are tighter. Or perhaps a better way to say it is young qbs can’t progress when teams can stop the run and get pressure with 3-4 down linemen.

Particularly when said team comes into the game being well below average in sacks and TFLs and then throws around our OL like the rag dolls they now seem to be.

Both you know I hold no ill will towards either of you. I encourage you two to hop on Texas Clips on YouTube and watch the condensed version of last year's Kentucky game. Kentucky has at least two to three guys off the ball all game. They played a light box and tried their version of the flyover quite a bit. A lot of zone. In my opinion that why our running game was better in spurts last year because everyone was trying to take away Quinn. Now look at this years game. A lot of man coverage from Kentucky and a lot more attempts at heating up the pocket. And not just any blitzing. What it looked like to me was a lot of QB depth rushes from the edge and blitzing and stunting in the middle. Looked lile they were trying to keep him in the pocket and then bring pressure in his face. Obviously you two know that when you do that you leave the middle wide open but if the QB doesn't see it then why wouldn't you? Kentucky's handling of the offense is night and day different. So its my opinion that they wouldn't just recklessly blitz like they did yesterday because they know 3 would hurt them on the back end.

Good points. Even with all our troubles, if Arch throws that single slant to Mosley a couple feet lower as the blitz arrives, we might well win in regulation and feel a wee bit better about last night. Credit to Stoops for dialing up the pressure, but I'm sad we weren't able to diagnose and avoid the heat much better than we did.

Our post VY QB left school as the all time winningest QB in CFB history…

Mack won a whole lot of games. But we also suffered some devastating losses with teams swimming in NFL talent. OU, Tech, Bama and even Colorado all took their turns beating us when we had the players to prevent it. I call that disappointment, in several cases much worse than this year's.
