  1. Having my scope off always makes me nervous.  For an extended, planned trip, ever more so.  I wonder if in lieu of actually firing the rifle to verify it's dope, if you could get one of those laser sighting shells?  You actually chamber it, then line up the beam with your scope.
    Anyone ever used these before?

Ive used them. Past 25 yds theyre not good but that distance is what the boresight distance is good foor. Just to get u on paper.
Or you can set the gun in a vise and pull the bolt. Look thru the barrell at an object at least 25 yds or so away. Look thru the scope. Use the scope turrets and move the cross hair over that same object. Check the barrell and scope once more. Will get you on paper.

  3. When Merc went to hards and RB went to mediums, I thought that Merc had outsmarted them.
But then Max just drove like he could have done the entire race on a set of mediums without stopping. That car is good, but holy shit Max can fly.
If you don't mind, how much is that seat in Mexico?

$1,000.00 usd, roughly with fees. Through a friend of a friend here in CDMX.
Secondary market was bringing 5x that.

  4. Worst part is this is an old, retired guy that basically moves into this camper on muzzle loader opener and goes home at the end of deer season which in Arkansas is end of February. He lost almost all of his clothes, blankets, towels, kitchen / bath stuff.... Couple of us are trying to get a list of things to help replace it. He's got some pretty rough spots but says the pain is getting better every day. He is one of those just in general tough ass old Arkansas mountain guys.

    Damn, man. Thats terrible.
Let me know how to throw in a few bucks for the old guy. PM me if you dont want to post here.
  5. Went to my new lease in Arkansas for muzzle loader opener this weekend. Had a gentleman on the lease who had a gas leak in his camper. Long story short check you equipment and get a fire extinguisher. This could have gone really bad. 1 person with minor burns and a 1 with some a bit more serious.
