Been that long since they shutdown a one dimensional offense?

Don't take this away from them. Who cares that Kentucky's most passing yards this season was 160 yards in a game. Don't pay attention to the fact that they had 2 games where they didn't break 70 yards in the air. The game plan they put together to load the box and stop the run was brilliant. It was one of the greatest defensive games in the history of aggy football.

What Lincoln won't ever understand is that the offense and defense need to be in unison.  Meaning that they need to actually be cognizant of running clock to rest the defense and dedicate time in pracrice to work on defense.  Air raid and Briles offenses lead to leaky defenses.

This. You'll never field a good defense with an offense that tries to scores as fast as it can. That defense is starting the game out knowing they need to try and save some energy cause they'll likely be on the field for most of the game.

Makes me wonder if espn had just created something  called "espntx" with the guise of covering all texas sports, and having contract with ut for the  same LHN money, and maybe carry a couple other smalls schools for good measure, if aggy would have pitched a fit.

I don't think it would have mattered. Their biggest problem has always been they don't like being looked at as the little brother. Any packaged deal would be looked at as aggy was tagging along, which would have been true. They have the worse case of little brother envy I have ever seen. It's why when they talk to other fan bases they create these lies about how great they are, or how crappy UT is. Most other fan bases don't care enough to research the lie since it doesn't involve their teams, so they just accept it as fact.

Dumb question, but what was the outcome of the "note" sent to Rumlin?

It was aggy. They swept it under the rug just like the sexual assaults issue. You don't hear about either.

Someone can correct me but I don't think you can directly compare the tv contracts for B12 and sec. In the secsec you lose your tier 2 rights whereas in the B12 you keep those rights and any money you earn from them. For that reason you can argue the B12 contract is more valuable than the sec tv contract. Probably than B10 too. It's certainly bigger for the University of Texas. #whoop

Doesn't the SEC (Each team) Pay for the production of the SECNetwork? They are technically only making around $6 million per team off of the network correct correct?

I don't get how their media people are obsessed with and talk so much garbage about us. I mean how weird is that?

That’s why they are fake media. They take things way to personal. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard them say negative things about a current head aggy coach. They use all that up on Texas coaching staff. What was it that Billy used to call Charilie? I know it had racial undertones. Now he’s calling Herman “Coach KISS.” Seems like a professional member of the member.

If Jimbo keeps jerking his players around, has a few quit on him, and  has more season ending injuries to his starters, then 4-8 or 5-7 will look about right for that team.

They'll  sell it as a monumental season, cause he's changing the culture.

LOL.. Aggies need to quit worrying about us and focus on their "new" home. They expanded Kyle field to apparently allow as many fans as possible see them lose.

Since joining their wonderful SEC-SEC-SEC (2012), they have won exactly three, yes "3" SEC West games at Kyle field (Ark and Miss St x2).

Last home win against an SEC West team was in 2015... a mere 1,095 days ago....

You do realize that an SEC loss is better than a Big 12 win?

Yet we have beaten 3 teams better than any of the crap teams they’ve beaten.

Ha. Not according to Billy. He called TCU a really crappy team. It seemed like at one point he was about to say that TCU is worse than Arkansas, then said maybe not Arkansas. They actually talked about how Arkansas is playing really hard which counts for something. The funniest part of the interview was Billy claimed to know what’s going on inside the Texas program and that the players hate Herman and there is real problems inside the locker room. Give it a fucking rest Billy. The fact that your doing this whole media misinformation crap against your big brother is tiresome.

texaggy radio is furious at not Jimbo Fisher grabbing the facemask, but Texas players commenting on it.

At 23:00, Olin Buchanon says about Emmanuel Acho that he's "a soft player from a soft program that wouldn't know about the toughness of Jimbo and Texas A&M". Then a couple of minutes later stumbles over himself talking about Tom Herman knowing he might say something that'll get him fired.

I'm still listening. Will check in later if I hear more stupid stuff from them.

Funny that this is the take from every member of the aggy media that I've seen so far. They can't just report a story, they have to lead you in a certain direction.

The discussion at the end of the first half about K-State’s use of the clock was embarrassingly stupid.  Neither knew it was fourth down.

Seemed like maybe they were reading tweeets about it, cause they got really defensive about it.

  12. I got into it with Brando at an Independence Bowl beer tent one year. It was during the LSU Saban years. He and an LSU fan were talking about how they thought LSU was going to manhandle Texas physically in their bowl matchup. Brando made a comment about how Texas was going to see what SEC football was all about. Needless to say the back and forth got a little personal between us. I saw him again a couple of years later in Shreveport and tried to get his response on the beat down that Texas laid in his beloved Tigers. The only thing he could say was...jeez this asshole here. That was satisfaction enough for me.

  13. I don’t know what was worse, the refs or the announcing. There was one play where KSU defensive player tackled one of our guys by the neck, and Tillman was praising it as a great form tackle. I also love how they got defensive about not knowing it was fourth down.
