Per online sleuthing she was at Pier 17. There is not much distance between the pier and the bridge and from the video it looks like her screws won’t come out of reverse and she is moving backwards fast. Very likely would have been far more dangerous to try and scramble everyone down by the time it became clear it was going to happen.
These ships are diplomatic and educational symbols and when they are in a port, they offer free tours and stuff for the public. Super shitty and sad all around.
accident occurred on the Brooklyn side

The Zoo was great, ny 7YO's loved it. Bodega breakfast taco's were fine, had several breakfast taco's catered at events and I don't recall from where but given I love in NY...I'm happy. BBQ from Pit Room one evening at catered event, Brisket, Sausage, Chickenb, Turkey, tater saladm etc. not bad, a little salty on the end pieces.
Also catered event at Cadillac BAr...checked my mid level Tex-Mex box.
Grangers.... had the crab hushpuppies...fuck yes! the Redfish Pontchartrain with crawfish eEtouffee slams.

settling on Pinkertons (is it crazy on a Friday for lunch?), Truth or PitRoom
will def try Botega for breakfast tacos due to proximity.
I'm in with the family (wife, no pix, and two 7YO's) so it;s all about me getting some Texas food. maybe Betelgeuse for Pizza for my boy who is a pizza eting machine.
Thx for the help.

As others have mentioned, MF Sushi, Le Jardinier and Lucille’s are the play within walking distance of the Zaza. Use Zaza’s house car to venture over to Montrose or Rice Village for more options. I lived at the Zaza for nearly a year while I was commuting from Arizona and, I can’t stress this enough, do not bother eating in their hotel restaurant.
I think the Zaza is garbage, not my choice and not my $

Do you have a car? For the love of god dont go to Citadel bbq (they boil their shit) or brookstreet (trash)
If you are stay at Zaza and dont mind walking Le Jardinier is one of the best restaurants in the city and close. Lucilles is great, as is Mo Betta Brews for veggy options. MF sushi also fantastic
was thinking about Le Jardinier and I will look knto Lucilles. THX

You know, considering what you chose to bold in your response, are you tacitly saying that you also think Chili is better with beans? I'll hang up and listen.

2nd on blue bell being terrible
Not sure if it’s a Texas thing or not, but chili is better with beans
Pecan pie and kolaches both fucking suck. Kolaches are 90% bread and 10% filling, can’t stand them
Whataburger is terrible, but it used to not be
get the fuck out of here and never come back.

I'm living the TPS Reports scenario. Company got acquired, happy to be out from under the PE overlords and into a larger public company. While its fun to be an overlay....its also like having 8 managers telling me we are using cover sheets now
did I mention I'm on my 4th Sales VP in three years? 4th CEO, new Public company one isn't going anywhere which is kinda nice except for he and the COO think our BU can now contribute 25% of the companies total revenue and implemented a TAM model where I cover all of NY from Metro NYC versus covering NYC/Norther NJ, Philly, the typical model that everyone else in the whole tech world has used forever.

Do we think that the Horns get the Visitor bench? I'm hoping so as I'm in the first row section 13 right by it. It'll be my kids first Longhorns sporting event.

I cannot get cream gravy right the first time. It always takes a second shot. And usually is mediocre.
Grandmothers all over the tri state area roll over in their graves when I start up a batch, usually after frying some backstrap chunks.
