It’s because your wife goes to the COVID ward and fucks each unvaccinated patient before they die. It was just a matter of time before she got a breakthrough case and brought it home.

Funny thing is when she was getting fucked, one of her partners kept saying he’d give her a breakthrough case because of his huge…well…anyway long story short…if you want to discuss breakthrough cases maybe this isn’t the right place.

Ah nice projection, 2/2 is hardly "breakthrough case" stats but hey you keep sucking that MSM dick fella.

Because it's not both, you idiot. Ignorance means you aren't aware of something. It's impossible after almost 2 fucking years of occupying every headline on Earth for a person to be ignorant of the facts. If they are willfully choosing to get their information from heavily biased news sources, social media, or word-of-mouth anecdotes, that's a lack of critical thinking and I have no sympathy for these people losing their jobs.

Please tell me what aren't heavily biased news sources?

Both my wife and I were fully vaccinated her pfizer and me Moderna. Come into contact with someone who had it pre symptom and we both caught it. Tested positive with light symptoms.

Would we probably have had more severe symptoms if we hadn't been vaxed. Sure.

But saying you won't get it if your vaxed is just flat out wrong.

It would be much easier to dispell that notion if the President of the United States hadnt gone on camera and said that very thing ("you can't get covid if you've been vaccinated")...iirc he repeated it just in case nobody heard it the first time. If anyone thinks he misspoke or didnt know what he was saying at the time, thats an even bigger issue, but a discussion for another thread. But at the same time, anyone who thumbs their nose at people for believing false info about covid obviously haven't been paying attention to all the conflicting/ever changing info, mixed messages etc being put out there by the most visible/influential people since this whole thing started.

Just look at the posts in this thread, there was a link to some website where they were suggesting that like 97% of people who got COVID were unvaccinated or something like that.

I just don't believe those numbers, but again I am sure they are doing everything they can to get as many people vaxxed as possible, it's just these little white lies make people question everything.

Now I wanna tell you a story. I'm gonna ask ya'all to close your eyes while I tell you this story. I want you to listen to me. I want you to listen to yourselves.

This is a story about a football coach taking on the head job at the flagship university of the 2nd largest state in the Union. I want you to picture this football coach.

Suddenly a bus races up. The Arkansas Razorbacks jump out and call the hogs. They drag his pathetically talented offensive line into a nearby field and continually push their shit in with a 3 man front, and then they rip the freshman QBs clothes from his body. Now their running backs climbs on, first one then the other, then the other…… then the other, raping them, shattering everything innocent and pure -- vicious thrusts -- in a fog of drunken breath and sweat. And when they're done, after they killed any shred of dignity his team had, murdered any chance for them to go to the CFP, to have the oddly magical season so many of their delusional fans thought was possible, they decide to turn them over to their meth addled hillbilly friends to the west for target practice. So the hillbillies start throwing counters and punt passes at them. They throw 'em so hard that it tears the flesh of his team’s unathletic defense all the way to their bones -- and then they storm the field.

Now comes the Cowboys for a hanging. They have a rope; they tie a noose by letting his team get out to an early 14 points lead. Imagine the noose pulling tight around his neck as again his scheme just can’t counter-balance the holes his offense and defense has for four full quarters of football. The team and its fans are pulled into the air, their feet and legs go kicking and they don't find the ground. The hanging branch isn't strong enough. It snaps and the team falls back to the earth for a bye week.

Can you see him? His team raped, beaten, and broken by crushing losses, soaked in their collapses, soaked in their failures, soaked in their blood -- left to die.

Can you see him? I want you to picture that football coach.

    Now imagine he’s Urban Meyer.

This is not getting enough love, solid movie.

    Agreed.

IMO, there are only 4 cfb rivalries that can make a claim for best/most intense:

    Texas/OU

    Army/Navy

    Alabama/Auburn

    Michigan/tOSU

If you're a fan of any of these schools, you have an argument for best rivalry in cfb.

    All others pale in comparison.

For the guys saying their wife would laugh at them if she saw this, it's because she knows there is no way the girl would go home with you. Meyer's fame can pull in a 25 year old without difficulty.

Please tell me this involves having Bijan and Keilan on the field at the same time.  My biggest complaint (outside the oline) is the under-utilization of KRob.

Frankly, I think he should be ahead of Roschan on the RB depth chart (ducks).

Been thinking about all this. I'm gonna cut Sark some slack and say that he kept the TCU game plan pretty basic, because he's saving a bunch of things for OU. Against Rice and Tech, we saw a relentless offense that used a lot of deception and a lot of running backs. What we saw against TCU was a lot more wide sets with a bunch of receivers on plays that by and large weren't successful, and the same basic offense that sucked ass against Arkansas. Not nearly as much play action. Casey was under constant pressure. If Sark thinks he's going to get past OU with that offense, we're all in for a major disappointment.

I thought this Offense was out of the woods, but what we saw last Sat. was anything but relentless. It isn't enough just to hang in there and hope the Defense can slow down OU. It worked for a while against Arky, but only for a while. Casey needs at least five planned keepers/scrambles. Ten would be magnificent. He is the key, not Bijan. He's got to hit the deep ball. If he can get his deep passes down, that's good for 21pts right there.

If I was OU I would sell out to stop Bijan.

OU giving between 3-7 feels right to be honest. They've looked like a slightly better team and generally deserve the benefit of the doubt given their success in the series and Big 12 under Riley. OU offense also got it together against Kansas State and Texas is bringing in a first-year starter at QB, which is basically a guaranteed loss in the RRS historically (some recent Riley QBs non-withstanding) when it only applies to one side.

Of course, they never matter, but this is as wide open of a RRS as there has been in a while terms of pregame expectation. Both teams have shown encouraging flashes and ugly lows. Both coming off hard fought road wins over their respective purple kryptonite. 2019 was pretty open but that OU team was also coming off a playoff berth and destroying everyone. 2020 felt like Texas's game to lose and they did indeed do that. All the games prior OU was an indisputable favorite, though Texas managed to pick a few of those off because that's how it goes. I'm not sure there's an outcome that would really surprise me this year.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

I wonder how much we would have won by at Arky had Casey started.

The way the hogs are playing right now I'm not convinced it would have changed the W-L column, (especially in their home pigpen) but I AM convinced we don't get scoreboard embarrassed with Casey starting the game.

I agree with just Casey starting.

Casey named starter back in spring ball however and I think we blow ULL out and do end up winning vs Arky.
