Eckridge Farms Sausage is a key item to anyone cooking carne asada in South Texas gringo. It is in my top 3 of meat choices for my tacos.

? Carne asada with sausage?   I’m confused. Do I need to recalibrate my sarcasm meter?

  2. That was by far my favorite place on any of the lakes.

where I’m at there are two boat up restaurants and it’s a good 45 min boat ride from me to get there. Food is meh.  No character like any of those places in Travis or Austin.

  3. didnt know ski shores closed down.  i also rememver them being a bit pricy for what you got but it was a good burger about 10 years ago.  i felt like teh service then was eeh.  but you know high school kids so i just drank more  lol

what was the place with the live music that eveeryone would pull up to and anchor together in the middle of the lake and listen? swim to shore to get cold beer or food and swim back.

saw kenny wayne shepherd there once.  damn that was a great night.

  4. yeah  portland oregon.   We did just use a citrus fertilizer this year for the first time.   i think its also probably time to replace the soil.

started as one of those small plants from home depot or such.  probably only 6-8" tall.   also had a rough first year with snap freeze we had and wasn't paying attention to.

Your lime is four years old? Are you in a cooler climate? Ours is two years old and also in a pot (25 gallon and on a small dolly) but is quite a bit bigger. We had four limes this year after the initial fruit drop in the spring. Last year we had two limes. (We're in cenTex).

any recommendations on what we should do to it?

So my starter trey got flooded and all mixed up.  These sprouted and keep going but not sure what they are. Any help?
possibilities are cucumber, santium tomatoes, basque hot pepper, beets, basil or arugula.  Not likely those last two. 0307C3B1-A774-4D63-9611-676C58291181.thumb.jpeg.a2c044662fe8bf694e6f4605c3ce8907.jpeg20AE5764-ECE6-45E4-B2DA-0207F8615163.thumb.jpeg.d1db63ae840f0ef38fadbc9d43646fc7.jpeg0713A210-74B3-468D-9822-43147261107E.thumb.jpeg.9f2e89ac1139cbc8beb501a129bb25c5.jpeg

Turns out this was arugula according to the identification of apple library. They didn’t fair well.  I don’t know what I’m doing.

  6. Finally a full week of 90° plus weather and sunshine.  Tomatoes are really popping this week. Serrano finally doing something.  I think it’s getting crowded by the damn ‘maters. This is the best I’ve had tomato plants ever look.

the last two are limes.  Had this tree for about 4 years.  Looks like we might finally get some this year! 1900F0CB-3FE5-41A9-8E9A-22089BEE3A6E.thumb.jpeg.9757f619e17f2a3c94f39bf01319f132.jpeg7109BA1A-BEF5-48F4-9559-F70D743AE2EC.thumb.jpeg.59f509decf0ad69365492b3d4ffc6f29.jpeg09A036EB-5976-4455-9053-B658C0F45531.thumb.jpeg.9a5f2b2895e70ee89307927651140c23.jpegC78B1A3A-E956-4A59-B16E-B0378508F459.thumb.jpeg.b82c70a1fcd9914e43b6e6efde094b3e.jpegCEBD6ECA-14F7-4617-B49F-53753CF6F1E4.thumb.jpeg.a26c8af9b7901074edcea621aea9be46.jpeg681F7466-0CE4-48D9-9E96-E7274D08CB8B.thumb.jpeg.e72ec66b3dd5d42b4e77a64f6519ce8e.jpeg 🤞🏽

    Username checks out.

Actually in this case not at all.  Lol. Although I live in the Portland metro the Eugene in my name has to do with jeeps.  As in the alien Eugene that made a “Jeep Jeep” noise.   And my avatar.

And I’m no ducks fan. hell it’s hard to follow casually up here because you have to look real hard for any sort of info.  Like I’ve said in previous post on this thread.  It’s strange to me growing up in San Antonio and Austin with the media coverage Texas got.

I'm skeptical of this guys numbers.  Why does the ACC get such a disproportionate boost in 2026?  Big 10 and SEC have new members and new contracts.  Big 12 and Pac 12 will have new contracts.  ACC is stuck with the same one.

The fine print is counting on a 12 team playoff that year.  All conferences in his scenario get a boost that year.  Some more then others.

I had just totaled my 4runner and messed up my back when I started looking for FJ's. Because of my back didn't really look too hard under it. I noticed a little rust but it didn't seem too bad. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I went under it to install a plug for the trailer. It was way worse than I remember it being when I got it. A few trips to the beach probably didn't help.

So I took it over to the body shop around the corner. His advice: paint it and sell it. Being that I'm not completely unethical I'm not planning on doing that, what would you do? Kinda leaning towards just driving it till the wheels literally fall off and replacing parts as they go. Looks like anywhere from 20-35k for a nice one, and I'm guessing I'll get 10-15 for this one, so it seems it would be cheaper to just sandblast/paint the bottom and replace the suspension parts as needed than spring for a newer/less rusty one.

Make sure you don’t have a recall open on it.  Toyota was replacing frames at one time for rust issues.  I think it was on tacomas though.

Right.  We probably deliver the Houston market better than UH and tOSU delivers the Cincy market better than Cincy.  The current marquee school is Oklahoma st?  Do they deliver the Dallas market?  Eh.  Maybe BYU.  Pac leftovers deliver Phoenix, Portland, Denver, part of SLC, Seattle and possibly the Bay Area.

PAC might barely deliver Portland.  It’s hard to tell when Oregon is playing a game here.  Even at a bar. Sometimes you have to look around and think for a second to tell they’re playing. Portland could deliver the nba market i guess….🤢

I think the real move would be for the bigger names in the Hateful 8 and PAC remainder to just pull together their own 12 team league, and let the weak relegate as the league TV deals expire. So not PAC or Big12, but a wholly new 12 teamer that is the Best of the Rest.
