Just turn the city into a penal colony. Business and law abiding citizens will adjust on their own. The gangs will grow at first but when you only out police on the outskirts of town in order to contain the mess then the population will eventually gather in the center of the city where the good real estate is after business and law abiding citizens move out (they’ll all want to occupy the trump penthouse I’m sure). At that point they’ll all kill each other. Chicago sucks anyway. Fuck it. Give it away. I’m sure the criminals will come up with some system to make it a sprawling metropolis.

You consistently have the dumbest, least thought out posts on here.

Yeah, no trust fund there either.

Reading through that thread I am damn glad I did not invest in MLPs.

"They don't believe in trust fund babies so I get nothing until I am 50, that's why my retirement is not an issue. I am lucky and won the sperm lottery. But I do not feel guilty about that"

I am still here buying index funds. My portfolio was up 20% last year despite me spending about 15 minutes managing my investments for the entire year. Carry on traders.

If you want to start the "Set it and forget it" thread I'll participate. We can talk about small cap value and SPDR ETFs every 3 weeks.

  4. Went last March and stayed at an expat's complex (has like 5 other rooms besides there) called Twisted Palm Villas north of the bridge in San Pedro.  Highly recommend.

Now for the important. There's a spot called Dive Bar 2 houses down where the main bartender Tua will hook you up with green/white (those are drugs) and strippers. Fun bachelor party.

Did a catamaran tour where they take you to the snorkeling reef and another island.  The reef is dope. The other island is great and has good bars.

Wish I would have done more stuff in town rather than hang out north of the bridge on what I considered the expat part of town. Secret Beach was great, wasn't too much of a secret anymore but was not crowded in the least.

  5.  Looking to finally make a move as first time home-buyer. Have a lease that runs through August at my current place, so not sure if that puts a kink in the plans yet. Was hard to jump into the last thread cause of all the pages, apologies if this is elementary stuff.

Trying to get a pre-approval now for a 30 year FHA cause I don't have much for a down payment (<10k). Have had a good experience so far with Sebonic/Cardinal, but my preference is to work with someone local for a pre-approval. No realtor yet. Can I PM you or is there something else I should do first to make it smooth?
