  1. great action and combat scenes in this south korean movie that was in my suggestions.

I know nothing about south korean films and series, but everything I've seen on netflix have been very entertaining to excellent.

watched the norwegian ww2 movie "narvik" this afternoon, it was pretty decent.

  2. everyone knows to visit the nearest small town dps office. I brought in a folder of documents when I finally had to get a real ID compliant license, the lady helping me in the el campo office just saw my passport and didn’t look at the rest of the stack I brought.

  3. I do this 2-3 times a year. drive up from Houston in the morning, pop into the SoS office with the money order, they go into a back room and come out with the apostilles and receipt in less than a minute. at their busiest they’ll tell you to come back after lunch, but normally I’m back to the car in less than 10 minutes.

    What's good there?

    everything.

my top three are the margherita, fancy backpacker and pepperoni madness.

  5. the way quentin kept insisting on tonya going out with the gays on the boat has me thinking there's going to be an accident during a booze cruise. as a result a widowed greg is left rich and free to do what he wants.

  6. another vote for no passport. any time I was asked for ID in London I flashed my txdl. Second on the ease of tap and pay, you can also buy an oyster card to use on the tube.

  7. Brick Lane Bagel Bake is really close, yes? That was heaven for me. Fresh bagels (beigels) and salt beef (what we'd call corned) for less than $9 or much less expensive options like salmon, egg or tuna or nutella).

I walked past there today, the peculiar spelling caught my attention (beigels). they had a boiled brisket looking thing on the cutting board, not for me.

  8. Suggest you find a pub. Then another pub. Pub again.

I did that yesterday. started near Trafalgar Square, then Hyde park corner/Knightsbridge, intended to go to nothing hill, but instead saw dinosaurs at the natural history museum, tried to find a pub to watch the Grand Prix from somewhere in south Kensington, hiked across Chelsea then over to sloane square and ended up next to battersea power station before calling it a day.

I was a preteen that liked this song a lot. I think the guitarist was a teenager:

the frontman, daniel johns, was married to another ohw mentioned upthread natalie imbruglia.  and her single was a cover originally written and performed by the american band ednaswap
