I don't know why this isn't in the Fuck the Police thread either. I have no doubt Scottie was doing what he thought he was supposed to be doing. I had a similar incident happen to me when I THOUGHT I was doing exactly what I was supposed to do. And ironically, that cop had on blue jeans and a T-Shirt, and it happened in IN not to far from the KY border.

And people wonder why there's a Fuck the Police thread.

CSB: Back in 1983, my family was flying back to Austin from Miami and changed planes in Atlanta. I was 16.

The Carter's were on the same flight in first class so we had to walk past them to get to our coach seats.

No meet and greet on that flight since Jimmy was still traveling with his Secret Service goons, but Amy was checking out my twin brother as he passed by.

Amy was pretty goofy looking as a child and somehow morphed into a Ron Howard look alike as an adult, but she looked pretty good that day as a mid teen, from what I recall, although I was more focused on Jimmy, and Rosalynn was smoking.

Still, twin brother dodged a bullet.

Once we got in the air, the crew made an announcement, and there was applause but that was about it.

Godspeed Jimmy...oh what might have been.

Early 80’s Travis High School.  Teenage Al is sitting in Miss Craig’s political science class and she mentions that some of the young gentleman sitting in her class today could be interested in Carter’s same age daughter.  Younger Al may have winched and shook his head, nope, not even on the mostly lonely of so many lonely nights. Her looks were rather unfortunate but so was mine.

Tossed some tater tots in the air fryer with leftover fajita meat and put them over some scrambled eggs with japs and Julio’s. Will do again.

Needs a paper plate or a once used styrofoam plate, I have learned from this thread that disposable dinnerware only improves these creations.

Fair enough. Not a very relevant comparison.  Just saying that $4.5 million is not an unbelievable number. I’ve eaten at their trailer 20 or 30 times at the most random parts of the day, when restaurants shouldn’t be crowded, there was always a line. If they’re ringing up a new order, say every three minutes or so all day from the time they open to the time they run out in the evening, and each order ranges from $20 to $80, it adds up to a shit load of money.

Every 3 minutes? Been there plenty to know that you spend way more time waiting in line than you do eating at Valentina’s. Everything took too long at the trailer.  Just my observation.

In think they were counting tip money as income when they were courting investors.

Is she trying to make some kind of joke, or is she full dementia? All a jury needs to see is how 26 years ago she was fat as fuck and no way anyone could find a way to fuck her fat fucking ass in that dressing room. Maybe it was Billy Bob Thornton from Bad Santa. Did she shit right for a week?

Definitely wasn’t BBT if she shit right for a week.

I stated up thread from a couple of years ago, but Bricco, in the old Italian section, is some of the best Italian I've eve had.

Head down into the alley on the right side of Bricco and get sandwiches from the pasta shop, absolutely amazing, pickled octopus and mozzarella balls too. Fresh bread on the opposite side below the restaurant is also a treat.

  7.  Been to Yvonne’s, it’s nice. Al’s Grandfather use to visit the establishment when you could also bang whores upstairs back in that day. /csb

There are nice restaurants in every city, seek out places that may have character, and you will find them in Boston. Red Sox bars around Fenway, Sullivan’s Tap by TD Garden on game days are full of character and characters. Santarpio’s on the East end, Kelly’s Roast Beef in Revere, are 2 of Al’s favorites.
North End and Back Bay, you can’t go wrong.
You have never see more pizza, bars, ice cream and donuts per capita until you walk around Boston.
And go to DD, get an Iced coffee, there is a reason for having +1000 locations in Massachusetts.
