Ok so are you fully vaxxed people wearing masks indoors 100%?

Nope, only if required which is nowhere in Texarkana. Last time I wore a mask was in June on my flight to Cabo. I had jury duty yesterday and I'd say about 10 out of 250 had a mask. It worked out to their advantage too, judge let them use the excuse of being concerned about sitting next to unmasked jurors as an excuse not to serve.

  2. Hospital my wife works at had 20 admits two weeks ago, 26 one week ago and 44 today. They are working on setting up their negative pressure floor again but running into staffing issues. They relied on a lot of RAC?(think thats what she called them) nurses during the last peak. Also, a lot of the PRNs that made a killing during the winter have been taking the summer off.

Young people who get the COVID-19 vaccine in West Virginia won't just gain protection against a deadly virus — they'll also make money.

The state will offer a $100 savings bond to everyone between the ages of 16 and 35 who gets vaccinated, Gov. Jim Justice, a Republican, announced at a Monday briefing

  4. Yall seriously think a lot of businesses will require a vaccine passport to enter?  95% of the places here dont even require a mask, including some school districts.  Went to the fair tonight, hardly a mask to be found. On another note, wife told me they havent had anybody in the covid ICU unit in over two weeks.

What major businesses have waived mask mandates?  my grocery store, the pool store, the liquor store, home depot etc.. are still requiring masks as i hit up all of those this weekend in Dallas.  Yes, we are 'open' but anecdotally, not much has changed for me.  kids are still required to wear one at school and they have not bitched about it one time this year despite doing this since Sept.

the whole 'did masks do anything?' debate is just going to get further muddied in the public mind.  Oh well, worry about that later.  shit is looking up and and it's awesome to see the vax rolling in.  not going to debbie downer this shit.

I'd say travel about 30 miles each direction and your experience would be much different. I know it is in NE Texas for me.

MASK REPORT: went though H-E-B this morning for weekly run. NW Houston, aggy central.... but out of the 200 people or so in the store only a couple of toddlers without masks.

    pretty impressed so far.

The Walmarts here have taken down the mask signage. It was never enforced anyway.

I guess its selective because the Target here offers a  mask to the maskless but dont require it.  Of course we are having a fair and rodeo too lol

Thanks! I imagine most places worth their salt (read: Fortune 500's) are going to enforce a mask policy. I would imagine the very small or family owned businesses are probably the ones who won't.

You can go into any Walmart, Target, Home Depot, etc..  without a mask with  no questions asked most anywhere in NE TExas.

***URGENT*** City of Kilgore Institutes Stage 3 Water restrictions!
Normal winter usage is 800 gallons per minute in Kilgore, we are currently at 2,500 gallons per minute (highest usage ever), and we can only produce water at 1,300 gallons per minute. In other words, we're running out of water and we need your help.
We've found dozens of homes and businesses with water pouring out from inside where the owner had no idea. Please help out by conserving and looking around to help locate leaks. If you see something, please call it in at 903-984-5081.
