It's not about rewriting the Constitution, it's about the executive choosing to ignore it in its execution of laws.

Didn't he take a vow to uphold the Constitution?

Would an EO violating such vow constitute high crimes and misdemeanors?

    Just asking questions.

  2. OK, decided to make my own repair on a busted DC jack. Online videos seemed pretty straight forward.

I'm using a variable temp soldering iron (can go up to 800F) but keep I keep it between 700 and 750 with desoldering braid. The braid seems to wick up about 90% of the solder but the pins will not come out.

Is getting a desoldering pump worth it?

And what do you imagine the chair would have done with Ford's identity? Perhaps tell people outside the process like... uh... Ed Whelan, who would then go digging up dirt around Ford?

That's exactly what would have happened.

Leak it and let others run the smear campaigns.

  4. I lived in the valley probably longer than brisket did and had a Hispanic nickname.  If i as a Democrat running for statewide office I’d use it to, and my last name wouldn’t be on any campaign material.  Just like Beto.  Even though I’m a privileged white male.
Libs often are against cultural appropriation.

They called you "Pinche Bolillo" didn't they?

Maher gives Beto the opening to get negative about Cruz, but Beto keeps on the positive.   Like someone said earlier, positive is as refreshing as mudslinging is old.  Beto has the personality, sense of humor and focusness (tip of the hat to BillinSinton) to pull this off.

BillinSinton...that's a blast from the past.

So roll that into the algorithm.  I'm serious, this could be written in a weekend.  The real point is that it's the very last thing either party wants.

I saw a documentary on Fedex and UPS...they already have software that does the calculations based on population densities and access to roads in order to determine their most efficient distribution centers and routes for their deliveries.

It would be very easily adapted to create electoral maps.

    Amazon is doing it too.

  7. Although now I think about it, it may explain his vote in the Muslim ban case.  You read his concurrence and you’d swear it was going to be a dissent.  But if he felt beholden to Trump so Trump would fulfill his promise of Kavanaugh, he might have voted with the majority just for that.  A little tit for tat.
Seems obvious now that Kennedy's recent decisions have been in line with Trump.

That one is gonna sting because it gives lots of congress critters cover to come out against it.

The fact that they did the analysis on a state by state basis shows me they are trying to make a link with electoral vote tallies. Should be interesting to see how their data correlates.
