Assuming guys like Warehime, Mehringer, Giles, and Beck are fired after the season, are there any decent high school coaches in DFW that could step in and help like Jeff Traylor did?

If Herman really has to fire 4 of his coaches after Year 2, why would you have faith he would get it right the second time?

  2. I'm 30, recently single, and work in Deer Park but have no desire to live there. I'm wanting to spend at max 1300 on a 1 bed apartment. I've had people recommend to look for places in Midtown, but I don't know if I will find a place that's not in the ghetto at my price, plus I might be too old for Midtown. Others have said to look at Heights, Washington, Rice-Military, and Upper Kirby, but I don't know anything about those places. Any suggestions?

Typical aggie, fixated on only one school that regularly beats the crap out of them. They should be more worried about Georgia at #8 with only 10 recruits and other schools like Ohio St and Clemson passing them.

I wouldn't be surprised if OU passes them.

Why should they care what Georgia does? They play them like once every 20 years. They play Bama every year. They will never recruit at Alabama's level, but they need to keep up with LSU/Auburn

Until Witten retires, we should probably steer clear of using any type of valuable asset (first 4/5 round pick, big money UFA, trade, etc) on our 2nd TE.

That's the whole point. Why wait until he retires? He wants to play till he's 40. I love Witten but it's time to move on.

I understand Witten's play has diminished, but he's still the best TE on this roster. We've drafted his so called replacement plenty of times (Fasano, Marty B, Hanna, Escobar, etc) and he's been better than all of them.  Hell, Witten's 560 yards last year put him 12th in the league.

They misused Bennett. He was pretty productive with the Giants, Bears, and Patriots. Witten also averaged 6 YAC/game. A tight end that is a mismatch for LB's and get yards after catch would do wonders for the offense, especially since Dez is gone.

I think we can get by with what we have at LB if we manage to production from the side opposite lawrence and manage to get a studd DT like Vea.  We just need to spend some resources on the DT position and that would likely fix a lot of our problems.

For sure. I wish they would take Hurst, dude is like Aaron Donald. For some reason this staff thinks they can just put JAGs out there at DT. Imagine if we had constant pressure on the QB coming from the interior and we had Irving, Lawrence, Taco on the outside

I didn’t like the pick at the time, but it’s just not true that he didn’t improve as the season went along. You can check his PFF grades for a snapshot.

his problem is that he’s really bad against the run. That never really improved, and as the season went on teams started targeting him. He made up for that by playing pass coverage at a high level.

This is why I don't understand people who think taking a LB in round 1 is a dumb decision. Are you comfortable with just Sean Lee and Jaylon, 1 guy who has trouble staying healthy and 1 guy who sucked playing against the run?

Kinda like fucking a fat chick, show up for the ride but hope no one finds out and the last thing you want to be doing is bragging about it or announcing it to the world..............with the exception of our very own Vic

Apparently he didn't want people to know about it so much that he changed his twitter background and avi to him and his brother in A&M gear. He's still not going to A&M though.
