Maybe we've sucked in the 1st and 2nd so we can unleash in the 3rd.
Costanza opposite. We could have a worse plan.

How’s the water pressure? Was seeing some posts online last night that some areas were experiencing low water pressure further hindering the efforts.
Watching the news about 20 minutes ago, showed a lady spraying her house down in Altadena to try to avoid the house on fire next door spreading to her house. She got the hell out when the 50 foot pine tree in her back yard totally blew up in flames.

Great to hear @Sbbruin. Stay safe! It’s heartbreaking to see those houses going up in flames right off of New York drive. Some of the embers “flying around” shown on the news look like the size of chunks of charcoal.

Eaton- Went from a small brush fire to this in just a few hours. Fucking hell, literally.
Oh yeah. Saw it live on the local news from my home down in Irvine. It suddenly blew up while all the focus had been on Pacific Palisades. Could see live the fire just run down the canyon like a river. Feel for my co-workers in Altadena, La Cañada Flintridge, Sierra Madre, and Monrovia that thankfully got the hell out of there. Hopefully not too late, winds forecasted to be significantly backing down by late morning tomorrow.
Fingers crossed, and ironically, no fires in Irvine west of the Santa Ana mountains. Wind’s howling though. The Airport fire back in September thankfully pretty much stayed up in the mountains near Rancho Santa Margarita. Looked like Morder mount doom during the nights as it burned.

Run the ball out of pistol or a two back set and you won't get that slant. We abused Clemson out of the pistol.
No. No, that won’t work. Has to be something different now. Let me come up with something more innovative. It’s not an Arch package, but just wait for it. - Sark

Sure but unlikely.
That’s crazy! Anyone that thinks that Bama could possibly lose to Indiana is an idiot. Right?

Jesus Christ.
Can this guy just stop already with the religious stuff already?
Well, he does play for Notre Dame. I know it’s in Latin, but the school is named after Jesus’ mom.

Welp at this point we suck now, so least we won’t have to worry about pats on the backs.
everywhere you look , “Texas sucks” “Texas got bailed out” , “Sark shits down his leg” “Texas can’t run the ball”
Like I’ve stated in another thread, Sark and Quinn need to muster that 2023 Bama energy when nobody thought it could happen.
I kind of like this though. I want it to go like USC in 2005 when the talking heads started going overboard with USC being the greatest team winning simulation games against the best teams of all time including against Hannibal, Alexander the Great, the Golden Horde, WWII Japan and Nazi Germany all fronts.
Maybe Texas will hear it all, wake up and play their best game in all phases. I like Texas being the underdog. Take it personal without yapping about it. Just come out and show the nation how good they really are.

if you don't have stafford to jones in Fayetteville and Gardere to cash and Gardere to Johnny Walker both versus OU on your list then your memory is suspect. all three of those qualify because of rivalry. basically to have meaning it has to be a win or go home, championship or rivalry game. these three all qualify for the latter.
Still can picture Tony Jones pumping his fist in the end zone and Ken Hatfield throwing his headset to the ground after the catch.
Gardere still owns OU.

Fair point. Very fair point. And I'll accept that reality. However, while it wasn't for a National Championship it WAS for a Conference championship so..
Gotcha, and still agree with your original point. If the standard is a quintessential moment and Texas goes on and wins it all, 4th and 13 will be lore.

Here's my take on history.
You have to wait until a chapter is finished before you know how critical and historical certain moves/moments/plays were in them. Think VY during Kansas and the shift that sat a future NFL LBer on his ass or @ OSU in 2005 then.. of course THE PLAY OF PLAYS vs USC.
The 2025 season/chapter is not yet finished. I'm taking nothing from the clutch that was Quinn’s pass on 4th and 13. It was amazing and fantastic. BUT... before we start saying he or that play are Colt level.. MAYBE we should see if we PLAY for a National Championship first. Not win, but get to one. Little bit of a speed bump prior to that goal.
Agree with all you said.
But, counterpoint: I can still vividly picture James Brown on roll left. Your response was to a question about where one fits in “Longhorns lore.” That fits in Longhorns lore to me. Meh team, but yeah, still won first Big XII that then lost in the Fiesta. -

Counterpoint: Jimbo
You gotta know that there are some aggy out there that still have the “don’t care, got Jimbo” coffee mug in their kitchen cabinet. While half asleep making their first cup of coffee, they see it and think “did that all really happen? fuck.”

Aggy jokes.
Q: How many dollars does it take for aggy to pay their ex coach to keep him from rooting for Texas?A: Not $76 million. Also, not $26k a day would be an acceptable answer.

OSU doesnt scare me. Our defense will hurt them in ways they havent been all year. It will all come down to our ability to not commit turnovers and get the good version of Quinn for 3 out of 4 quarters.
Ok, cool. Hook ‘em.
To be clear, you don’t think we need to establish a run game.
