Good, Bad, Ugly
No ugly.
Bad - No Miller lite. Yes, I drink shit beer.
Good - 75 degrees inside, when it was 100+ outside.
- 35,750 in attendance. And we suck.
- That place will be rockin when we are good. -
Going to the game today. First game since 2012. Excited to see the new stadium. And the 72 degrees.
Trying to get wife and kids back on the Rangers bandwagon. They jumped off after Josh, Ian, etc left.

I was there for 10 days in June. Absolutely loved it.
Never really had any food worth writing about. Nothing bad. But nothing I would go out of my way to try.
Everywhere we went was amazing. Edinburgh was a blast. If you go to Oban, definitely make the trip to Iona. The beach on Iona was stunningly beautiful.

Does not sound like you play, but golf is a must-do in St. Andrews. It’s where the game started. There are 5 or 6 courses in or around town. Check out the University of St. Andrews. There are a couple of good restaurants in town. I forget the name, but the one that basically sits on the beach is very good.
I do not play golf. I have played less than 5 times in my life, and I was HORRIBLE.
Some of our group is playing golf at St. Andrews one day. I was thinking about playing, but I have not hit a golf ball, other than putt putt, in probably 18 years. I’m afraid I would hold up the group or get kicked off the course for playing so poorly. I would really like to see the course though. Do they let people go even if not playing? Could I pay to play, but actually just walk the course with them?

Flying out on Friday. We will be visiting Edinburgh, St. Andrews, Perth, Inverness, and Oban. Visiting some other places, but these are places we will be staying overnight.
I know we are doing distillery in each of Inverness and Oban. Other than a lot of other tourist stuff, pretty much have afternoons/evenings free.
Any recommendations on must do things in any of these places?

Can’t stand them.
Oldest kid graduated from Austin Bowie when we still lived in Austin. At the FEC. Long as fuck. Luckily he was front part of alphabet, so everyone but wife and I left after his name was called. They all went to our house to start up the party and wait on us to get there.
Second kid didn’t get to walk. Skipped too much school. Thank you, son!!!
Had to go to a graduation for a niece last year. Fuck! I really wanted a beer. We didn’t get back home that night til around midnight.
I will go to my two daughters’, assuming they get to walk, but that’s it. Those fucking things are way too fucking long.

I was able to snag a couple tickets to the Garth Brooks show on 2/5 for my wife's bday (ticketmaster was a cluster, but my order finally went through just before I gave up). It has not been cancelled yet. It's been mask required since the beginning, so I'm hoping they just stick to that.
We are looking at staying at the NoMad for proximity to show, adults only, and no smoking. Has anybody ever stayed or visited there? Thoughts? Restaurants on property?
Walked through Saturday night. It was D.E.A.D. Seriously. Quiet as hell and no one there. This was right after the 49ers/Packers game. All other spots we went to before and after were fine. This place felt like there were maybe 10 people there.
I laughed, because I’m a smoker and was pissed when walking in. All I could think is “this town thrives on addicts, and you are doing your best to keep them out of your casino.”

I have a bunch of people coming over to watch the game tomorrow. Most all of them are my sons and their friends. They are all mid to early 20s. They are pumped and confident.
I’m not confident at all. I hope these youngsters are correct.

The wife and I are taking our sons for their birthdays (one turned 25 and the other is about to turn 21) in two weeks. boys have never been. Wife and I have been 7 or 8 times.
I want to take boys to a show. Has anyone been to Beatles Love? None of us are huge Beatles fans, but I figure the show would probably be cool. What I read about O sounded really cool, but it’s about double the price. We aren’t surly rich, and I’m basically just wanting the boys to experience a Vegas show, so not really wanting to spend more than I need to.

Pair of shoes, underwear and undershirts. Because all of my current ones have holes.
Wife already bitching that I’m not wearing the new shoes. But I’m not dirtying them on to sit on my porch and drink beer/watch football all day.

Going to Charley Crockett at Billy Bob’s in a few hours.
I just discovered him two months ago. Really like his music. Interested to see how he performs live.

Wife and I got our boosters yesterday (we got our first shots back in February). Almost 24 hours later and my wife has no side effects at all, other than sore arm. I have sore arm, but I also feel tired today. It may just be because I have not been sleeping well lately.
My 12 year old received both of her Pfizer shots back in August before school started. No side effects at all, other than maybe a little bit of a sore arm.
My 9-year old got her first Pfizer shot yesterday. Her arm was sore this morning. She was not happy about that at all when she woke up. She said "I HATE whoever it was that started this whole thing!" She was trying to get out of going to school at first, but I wasn't letting her stay home because of a sore arm.
Once the 9-year old gets her second shot on December 6th, the entire family (other than a few conspiracy theorists on each side) will be completely vaccinated.

Just stumbled onto this show last Tuesday. I had never heard of it.
A week later, and I am all caught up. This is the funniest show I’ve watched in years. I haven’t laughed this much in a long time.
