Front passenger door swung open on hard left turns. Don’t see that much today.

Fiat 128 Wagon was mine.  1,300 cc of Baja surf mobile.  75 mph downhill with a 40 mph tail wind.

What happens when you want to grab one before it melts?

Why would I want to chill the neck of the bottle when most of the thermal mass is lower in the bottle?

Think I found my crash pad for the next 6 months. Seems absurdly priced, will probably have money stolen from me.

The outdoor Washer and Dryer is...interesting.

Price does seem possibly scammy or some other issue is going on with the property.

It’s 450 sf?  Do it.  I’ll ride over and we can get burgers at Rocky’s.

I’d love to see the top players play some competitive rounds on current course setups with 1980’s equipment

Obviously most of the folks impacted by this have already recognized the problem, and maybe a few surlyites are suing everyone.

But consider this a FYI for the rest of us who might want to keep this in mind if you are buying a home over the next 5 years or so that comes with a pool

This KVUE article today is the 3rd story I have read in the last 5 weeks about this issue that basically popped up all around the Austin area but seems to so far only be limited to newer pool builds. going as far back as 2017, but really becoming prominent since 2019

The super short version of the problem is it looks like many of the custom pool builders (including a lot of the previously higher-reviewed and longer in business companies) were somehow using concrete missing a key ingredient needed if concrete is going to be in contact with water.

to me the internet layman, it sounds like the concrete providers either skipped adding the key ingredient to save money, or some idiot manager got lazy and used a generic concrete mixture on most pool concrete orders.

Is this your pool?  Why do you give a fuck?

It is true that perjury of some sort goes on in courtrooms all across the country, not to mention in affidavits and declarations, every single day, multiple times.

And prosecutions for perjury are rare, whether of rich or of poor.  Exceedingly rare compared to the amount of perjury.

A lot of this is due to the materiality of the perjury:  it's either a minor, immaterial point or the credibility of the witness is so bad everyone knows they're lying.

The other issue is that to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt can be quite difficult.

    Good advice.  Thanks.
