Wish it was this version:
I'm just sitting here, seeking to cure what's deep inside, frightened of this thing that I've become. -
Here's to you, Craig Curry! May you enjoy the moment!

It happens to everybody. There's more shame in overreacting and firing a coach after two years because of it.
It doesn't make sense. Maybe there's more to the story.
I didn't see the game (was driving home after we played TCU) but I thought it was very telling that Army took Oklahoma to overtime and that they had the ball for almost 3 quarters. If OU's defense is going to have trouble with Army (and we know that OU's defense was NOT good this year), that was a good sign that a defense like UH's would have trouble with them as well.

#88 is indeed Speyrer. This play is at 2:26 of the video, the most important play of 1970. 3rd and 19 with 19 seconds left in the game: 86 pass, Ted crossing, Sam post. The game was not televised but I remember listening to the radio, the announcers got quite excited.
We kept the streak going.

Also, I'm told he didn't know how to block when he first got to UT. Royal said, that's OK, we'll teach him. He threw a key block that helped Ted Koy on a 10 yard run on the play after the Street-Peschel bomb in the Texas-Arkansas game. He scored the tying touchdown himself on the next play.
The photo above is a run in the 1970 Arkansas game. We were leading, 14-7 and had just stopped them on a goal line stand after a first down on our 3 yard line. Bill Montgomery got inside the one on 4th down but no more. We then proceeded on a 99 yard TD drive that broke their back. We won, 42-7, the caption is incorrect.

Seattle uniforms look like they should be involved in some sort of French protest.

That was ugly, the Cowboys almost threw the game away so that you don't know if they really deserved it.
It had to be absolutely heartbreaking for the Eagles (I love this!).
I'm getting tired of the zebras interjecting themselves into the game late. There were a LOT of bad calls that could have thrown the game.

Lincoln Riley drives 53 MPH in the left lane on I-35. And is oblivious to the other cars around him. Does not know the turn signal.

If Norman Rockwell painted a portrait of a drunken scrum, this photo is what that would look like.

it's as if the band is trying to play the most annoying song of all-time.
Intentionally. It's the LSU band playing while A&M has the ball.

Lincoln Riley liked New Coke.

It's kind of disgusting watching Colt have to hand off or pitch to THAT Sooner.

Same here. Always root for Longhorns.
Agreed. It's just hard to change direction mid-game.

Well, that Colt does a little bit of everything, doesn't he.
This is causing me conflict on who to root for.

Professional football is no place for diplomacy.

Greg Robinson was fantastic at Texas, I loved the way he instilled toughness in the Defense in '04 although I also think that Dick Tomey had a little something to do with that. I'll especially never forget the second half against Okie State.
And Greg was absolutely the right man to come in and take over the smoking wreckage in the aftermath of the Manny _iaz era, he turned the team around as well.
He isn't the answer for the current situation.

A very good reminder of why black should NEVER be a part of a Texas Longhorn football uniform.

Leach versus Tech would be highly entertaining with a lot of hype.

I can't believe we lost to the second coming of Richard Walton. JFC.
Richard Walton at least wasn't going bald yet. Most Okie State QBs look like they're about 35.

I'll never forgive Ndamakong Suh for what he did to Colt McCoy out of sheer meanness and he doesn't deserve to be there anyway (Saints).
Go Patriots!
