I'm chuckling at the thought of using my facebook reading/believing inlaws as a source to verify information...on anything.

Over the media?  Then take the deceased's friends and families word for it, you bitches are miserable idiots.

A Karen is a kind of person who is unhappy when little things don’t go their way. They are a, “Can I speak to your manager?” kind of gal. The bitchy soccer mom of her friend group that nobody likes.
“Do you see her over there? She’s such a Karen.”

“Hi! You put meat on my son’s turkey sandwich, when he is STRICTLY VEGETARIAN. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll direct your manager over to me right away.”

YOU KEEP SAYING THIS, BUT THEN YOU RUN AWAY LIKE A SCARED LITTLE BITCH WHEN ASKED FOR _LITERALLY ANY SOURCE_

PROVIDE A LINK OR SHUT THE FUCK UP. THIS ISN'T YOUR FACEBOOK FEED WHERE YOU AND YOUR MOUTH-BREATHING FRIENDS AND FAMILY CAN POST FAKE NEWS BACK AND FORTH TO EACH OTHER.

Ok, so your source is unverified Facebook posts and comments sections from media reports. You trust Facebook and the comments section over the vast myriad of legitimate media, of every conceivable political stripe and persuasion.  I’m not talking about NYT or WaPo. You couldn’t even find a Fox, or National Review, or even Blaze or OANN source. Wow.

"My source is in laws, ex wife and son that to some degree either live, lived, were born in State College or are students at.  In lieu of you bitches speaking with any of them I stated one could find relative proof via comments sections tied to media reports that showcase feedback that countered the media reports.."

Wait, your source is Facebook?  KathyTorres2 on Facebook?  Seriously?

edit: there’s a thread for that:

Another Karen I see.   The thread in it's entirety is here for you to read pg 168 give or take a few.   My source is in laws, ex wife and son that to some degree either live, lived, were born in State College or are students at PSU.  In lieu of you bitches speaking with any of them I stated one could find relative proof via comments sections tied to media reports that showcase feedback that countered the media reports.  If you believe the media is an end all source over feedback from the deceased's personal contacts God bless you.

Carry on bitches, its what you do best.

Are you going to provide a source to back up your claim that the family of the PSU kid has denied that he died of Covid?

You don't have one, do you? You're literally spreading completely unfounded message board gossip, probably from some sort of politically-driven conspiracy theory nutjob message board. This is a Longhorn message board. Nobody can stop you from being a fucking potato, but keep that shit on the conspiracy sites from where it come, and off of here.

So you still are too lazy or inadequate to run a basic google search?    Yet you can squeal projection and irony all over the board.   I'll restate my post so your emotions don't let you lose sight of the context aka try to move the goal post again.

FALSE NEWS!!! I knew Juan personally. Makes me so sad to hear this false information. Juan was not in State College! He had not been in State College since it was said to be closed due to COVID19, he was at home and went to get some things from his apartment June 13th with his roommate (my boyfriend Guillermo). They came down the 17th and Juan felt ill the following day. He was tested and was positive; he then self quarantine. On his 13th day (June 30th) his symptoms had gone all away was having breathing issues and died that night. The autopsy showed that it was due to natural causes and very severe high diabetes. Him and his family didn’t know he had that. CLEAR UP THESE FALSE INFORMATION!

The Cloak Room board (which I believe is some political reference but I forgot what it was). It is where we attempted to keep all political fights nice and segregated from the football talk. We have a very mixed fanbase politically so it could get really ugly if we allowed that kind of thing to infect our common interest.

This thread is showing our quarantine efforts are failing.

CR is to keep politics off the football board when it's not relevant.   Politics in a thread named "college football in 2020 in danger" is relevant.

That's not "proof" of anything. Football tends to be more important/popular in red-leaning states. California is the only exception on that map but it's had the most liberal response to the pandemic of any state.

Don't kid yourself, align that map data up with closed/open state protocol map.  Regardless of the topic, what drives the decision is the same as it relates to the leaderships stance.

Can you say he was a current Cal-U PA player when they were not playing football this year and their school is currently all virtual?   Just a question

No we can't, which was the tie back point you captured.   Like the PSU kid, Jamain's family countered the media reports by stating cause of death/circumstances aren't clear yet if not entirely inaccurate.  It's all relative to making the right decisions on a grand sum total, we aren't in a position of thinking only in terms of "lock it all down so we dont all die" or "fuggit open everything up risk be damned".   We know who and what is at risk at this point in the game and can make best result decisions that balance mitigating direct fatalities & collateral damages.   The absence of thought that there isn't a middle ground is frustrating, but thankfully the key board warriors don't have the controls... only opinions.

You come on this board, you have 44 posts, all in politically charged threads, and you make an incredibly stupid claim that when asked for a source,  attempt to support.. using anonymous internet posters on the comments sections of articles. In a world where you can find an "article" that says just about any inane, moronic thought anyone could ever possibly dream, you literally cannot provide a single link to support your claim.

You are either just unbelievably stupid, or a bad actor. There is plenty of good news about Covid going around to where we don't need people like you posting literal fake news and distorting what's actually happening.

This is what is blowing your mind and an "incredibly stupid claim?:

"Nope.   This is a perfect example of the national media misreporting and not correcting itself.   The PSU student had left the PSU campus 2 months prior & returned home to Allentown.   2 weeks after testing positive for covid and self quarantining/feeling asymptomatic he died of diabetic ketoacidosis."

I'd say it's fairly plausible that in June a kid might not have stayed on a campus that closed in April.  I'd even go as far as to suggest very likely.  As it relates to dying from diabetes, I believe another poster tied that down as another likely scenario.    Regarding the link that you have screamed for in all of your petulant glory, why did you feel entitled to such a demanding and immediate response source or is it that you don't possess the motivation or skills to handle that yourself?

Sounds like it would be a good idea to check your T levels.

So anyway, @DenverHorn, would you mind sourcing your claim that the Penn State student died of diabetic ketoacidosis, please? I cannot find a single reputable source that supports that, and of course I want to give you the benefit of the doubt that you're not being a disingenuous piece of shit.

MLB also plays several times a week, can do makeup games with double headers, and comparisons of records is less problematic when there are so many games are played. How is the Big XII going to compare records when games are inevitably cancelled and not made up? What if Bedlam or TX/OU are cancelled due to outbreaks? What if ISU doesn't play OU because of an outbreak while everyone else has to play them? What if a team is unable to play two of OU, TX, OSU, meaning they avoid some of the highest ranked teams on their schedule? That is my biggest concern. I think it is going to be a complete clusterfuck to determine who plays for the conference title.

They don't care about records or champions...  they are trying to salvage the billions of dollars generated by the games so they don't complicate things even more with the collateral damages from COVID.

From the "Annals of Internal Medicine" - Article around Obesity & Mortality in the Kaiser Permanente System in Socal.

Here is clip from article. Really spikes in terms of higher risk of mortality if your BMI is 40+ (considered severely obese). I used the low end of the higher risk in my post. Ultimately as I mentioned on other board we are in "Nut allergy" phase to me of CV19. If you know you are at risk of dying from CV19 (which the groups that are at higher risk are WELL established at this juncture) you need to enact the needed precautions to manage that risk. This may include not visiting grand children, going out to eat etc etc. Just like if you had a severe nut allergy you'd ensure that when you did go out you were not at risk of dying of it. (you'd verify restaurant doesn't cook with nuts/let airline know you were traveling and so on).

Way too logical, much easier to manage a nut allergy by simply not eating.

That's about 80 percent of the country over the age of 30.

It's already a disaster the likes of which no American has ever seen with over 1 in 1500 Americans who were alive on Jan 1 now dead from it. Millions hospitalized from it and many with massive medical bills and trauma from the experience. Now add in it's not close to finished and shows signs of heart damage in the majority of survivors regardless of age and severity of symptoms and this will be damaging this country for decades to come. It takes some callous, stupid pieces of shit to downplay it just to watch a bunch of unpaid kids bash their heads into each other.

How does pneumonia fare under the same review?
