Good recommendation on Extinction; though, I wonder if there could have been a bigger payoff if the reveal was closer to the end of the movie.

I loved the movie but i'm a sucker for most Sci-Fi. Loved the twist.

  2. I'm interested.. Was just looking at that. I would prefer SEC/B12/P12 league though if its possible.  Honestly I hate watching B10 and ACC Fball. Only included P12 because it will give me players to cheer for @ midnight.

  3. Looking over top 100 guys in the country. I know its been discussed before but it is embarrassing that the B12 only has 2 schools with commits.  Without getting into the this conf sucks etc.. Why do you guys think that is? Schools like Purdue,UVA,and Ill all have top 100 guys. Schools like WVU, TCU and Ok St cant get 1?

Has the perception of this conf dropped so low that elite guys do not want to play for anyone other than UT and OU?

Infinity War was one of the most satisfying movie experiences of my life. Right up there with Return of the King as far as a movie series goes, but obviously there was a lot more build up for this one. IW was the best Marvel movie to date, can't wait to rewatch it later this week.

Agree. I don't think I have ever seen a movie 2x in the theater.. My kids have been dying to see it but I wasn't sure if they were old enough (5 and 9).. Let them watch a couple of the older Marvel movies to test the waters.. So figured F -it and took them so they could see it on the big screen. They absolutely loved it and now they are excited as I am for Part 4. Well maybe not that excited.  Proud Poppa

  5. Ok, So i see these posts about player X from school y lifted z amount of weight....Is squats considered the most important free weight  in relation to football?  My Junior High Fball team  wasn't big into squats back in the mid 90's.

Yeah, I mean, I know every game that is close is a game of "what-ifs" for the loser, for sure. For me, however, the Gideon drop will go down as one of the single greatest chokes I've ever witnessed - right up there with the Oilers-Bills debacle and James Harden in any playoff game of meaning.

I remember the sheer elation we had in my house when we thought he'd caught the pick. There were like 12-15 of us gathered around the tv and we came totally unhinged. Screaming, hugging, yelling. And then someone points out the replay and that that choking fuck dropped the pop up. He was worthless his entire time on the field for Texas, but that one play would have made the rest of his weak shit meaningless.

And then the following year he gets an INT on the fake punt vs Bama... Is all hyped about it and all i could think was you just cost us about 20 yards you dumb ass. Knock it down!!!

A lot of us have played sports, been in the military, or have otherwise had tough mentors and coaches in our lives. I've been chewed up one side and down the other. I've been told in several different ways that I'm not cut out for one thing or another and have had my heart and drive challenged. You have to suck it up and fight through that. But Coach Brown gets real personal with guys who are already psychologically vulnerable.

I get what your saying about getting personal and I think the military is a perfect comparison. I think he gets personal because he talks to the mentors and families.  It really is a Last Chance U for a lot of guys in the military. I was in it and heard the stories from numerous people. Military was a way to get out and the way guys are treated in boot camp are not much different from this. I feel like he actually does care about most the kids and realizes some of them though will wash out. What he did for Carlos Thompson is evidence.

If Herman treated guys this way and finished #4 in the country..... would anybody here be upset?

welp, i'm done. in the last 24 hours you've referred to melo as a hall of fame addition to the rockets, you've insisted that luc richard mbah a moute is just as important to the rockets as nba finals mvp andre iguodala is to the warriors, and now you deny that the loss of roberson impacted the oklahoma city thunder, citing +/- as evidence that they didn't miss him. have fun discussing hoops with someone else.

Melo cant be referred to as a future HOF addition but Iggy can be referred to as Finals MVP?

Quote wrong above. that was meant for Iggy.

I get what your saying. But back to the original point. Moute affected the Rockets team just as much as Iggy did GS.

Did you watch the Rockets all year? Did you watch rotations etc?  Any person who did knows how important he was to Houston

  9.                 Iggy            Moute

    MPG        25.3            25.6

    FG             46%             48%

    3%             28%              36%

    RPG          3.8                 3.0

    APG          3.3                  .9

    PPG          6.0                7.5

    No comparison though? 🙄🙄

this is very simple. golden state's best lineup includes iggy, period. the same cannot be said about about luc mbah a moute. i'm not surprised that the same guy who disingenuously referred to melo as a hof addition to the rockets is now insisting that mbah a moute is as important to the rockets as iggy has been to golden state.

Your right. It is very simple. They have almost identical reg season stats in the 2017-18 NBA season.  They both are very solid wing defenders. Iggys role is running point when needed and slasher . Moute is a 3D guy and slasher.

But lets forget all that because Iggy was Finals MVP 4 years ago so they cant possibly be similar. When Moute went down the Rox were playing with 7 guys. Then without CP3 we had 6. They needed him badly all series and was never healthy enough to provide any production.

Someone is rather sensitive. Look at the margins of victory, it wasn't even close. Every time Houston responded the Warriors in turn squashed them. The scores looked reminiscent of something you'd see in the first round of the playoffs with an over matched #8 seed pitted against the #1 seed......but worse.  119-106, 126-85, 115-86, 101-92  The two bold games are flat out hilarious a 70 point margin of victory between those two games alone.

Except that when the Rockets responded in game 4 after losing by 41 in game 3.. They won game 5 as well to go up 3-2.  But your right. I'm sure GS just wanted the thrill of winning in game 7. I guess they just wanted to "squash them" in 6 and 7.  You must be one of the same clowns that thought GS would lose on purpose in game 4 vs Cavs so they could "win at home".

GS last 2 years with KD is 28-3 vs NBA in Playoffs

    4-3 vs Houston

    Not close though. Nice take

maybe rockets fans get overly defensive because people go around spouting stupid ass shit like this.  the warriors played two elimination games but the series "wasn't even remotely close."  fuck off with that dumbass hot take shit.

    This

Rockets were down 6 points with 5 minutes left in a game 7. But it wasn't close. Right.

  13. Rockets will be 1-2 seed and meet up with GS in WCF unless major injuries occur.  Mavs/Spurs fan act like Rockets are gonna get bounced in 1st round because they added a future HOF player and 3rd/4th scoring option.  Comical

No they will not win the same amount of games as last year. Had they brought back exact same roster that wasn’t happening either so shelf that argument
