Which is ridiculously ironic given AT&T was the sponsor for more than a decade. You would think they would try to increase the wifi presence in the stadium given they own a good amount of infrastructure to do just that.
LOL, my now 14yo has mentioned this every year for the past three years.
“Dad, isn’t AT&T an internet provider?”
Me-“most of the time”😂

Bought those like two seasons ago, when first posted, and they look good. One thing is they have very thin soles (volleyball shoes (?)), but you’ll feel more stuff under foot than a regular shoe. Of course they are “Nike Narrow” too.
Hook’em!!!The “Killshot” was an indoor court shoe back in the day. It was built more for squash & racquetball than volleyball.
sorry, my inner shoe geek came out…

Counterpoint: Yoko Ono
Was this part of that “hands across America” thing?
Oh dear Lord- in case of yoko ono it should be hands across the face or hands over the mouth.

Monday: No Big 12 Teams on Future Schedule
By Bobby Burton 51 minutes ago
It should come as little surprise, but for those thinking that Texas may attempt to rekindle a game with Texas Tech, Baylor, or any other Big 12 team soon, I am told don't hold your breath.
According to a high-ranking university source, the riff between Texas and the Big 12 has not ebbed in recent months, even if it is no longer a major topic within the athletic department.
Brett Yormark's public pre-season comments in Lubbock and those of deputy Big 12 commissioner Tim Weiser on radio row at Big 12 media days still echo in the memories of Texas power brokers. Those words and actions have swayed the current University of Texas athletic leadership to no longer genuinely contemplate playing any former Big 12 school in football or basketball. Not for the foreseeable future.
When Texas (and Oklahoma) first accepted the invitation to move into the SEC, Tech attempted to publicly negotiate an agreement with the Horns to continue playing an annual football game. The Red Raiders can now put those plans in the rear-view mirror.
"It's just not going to happen," the source said of any Big 12 teams on the future schedule in football or basketball. "The Big 12 made their bed."
The attitude of others toward Texas apparently plays a role in that decision.
"We're the bad guys," the source said. "We're always the bad guys when all we want is what's best for us. Any one of them would have done the same if they had gotten the invite (to the SEC) that we did."

I worked at an Account in Arlington back in the ‘90’s. It was in very close proximity to The Ballpark so we’d get a lot of visiting Team players come in to waste time between games. So, one day the Mariners are in town and this REALLY tall dude with long hair and a fu-Manchu walks in and sees the rack of “Big Johnson” tees. He got all excited and bought every XXL we had. I told him I could get more designs from the Dallas store, so he came back the next afternoon and bought those. This kept going for about three years. Every time the Mariners were in town, Randy Johnson would come buy his BJ tee’s.
CSB…TIA or not. 😕

I realize this was quite the shock to everyone here, but take a moment to relax while you imagine the level of shock it was for Kenny Baker.

I went on the hunt for some UT gear over the past couple of days. Almost nothing is available in Houston as far as I can tell. Obviously it's right after Christmas and we're doing well but still I was shocked at the low inventory at places like Academy and Dick's. What little inventory they had was crap. If I was XS and 3XXL, I may have been able to buy a hoodie.
I also assume that Tillman Fertitta must own some compromising photos of the Academy CEO. There were endless UH inventory at Academy. Whoever is in charge of inventory mix should be fired.
But hey, Houston is most likely in the top 3 locations where UT grads/fans live. Why should I expect otherwise. Rant over, any suggestions where to buy UT gear in Houston?
Rally House.
Or, as others have suggested, the www.
Fanatics
CoOp
Nike.com

Last few times I've gone to academy, I've trolled the manager pretty hard bc they have aisles upon racks of Aggy clearance items and hardly anything in Longhorn gear.
Is that company owned by Aggies? They seem to stock all their locations as if they're in BCS.
No. Academy is not owned by Aggies. aAlthough there are plenty that work there.
AS+O is own by p.e. firm, KKR.
The Gochman family owned it for 74+years until Max Gochman’s grandson sold all but 13.1% to KKR for a cool $2.1B.
