  1. I see your Ska glass, you tried their brut IPA yet?  Really enjoyed the several I had in CO a few weeks back.

Moral panic? If so, I really like it also and it was like $8 a sixer. Is it Colorado only?

    Also enjoyed this codename superfan

  2. We are with RMI. Company out of Utah that my neighbor works for. Having someone else deal with workers comp, payroll and unemployment in several states is fantastic.

Thanks for info, hadn’t heard or come across them much since they are out of Utah and look to have about 10k employees all together. Lots of peo options these days and many have good service. The difference is usually the technology (in house or 3rd party) and the capability of controlling renewal costs year over year. Larger PEOs have more buying power in market so usually better initial rates and renewals. Also, depends on the types of companies they target and how picky they are in doing so.

  3. I would have lost that bet. Woke up at 3 am and puked my guts out.
Still have to go to work - I have a mediation I can’t reachedule. Good times.

That sucks man, hope you recovered quick for the weekend.

My 18 month old has been driving us nuts with his sleep regression. It’s been about a week now, hope he can go back to normal soon so we (mostly my wife) can all get better sleep. Fun times.
  4. I worked for Paychex when I started in sales and it was solid but gusto is a much more modern system that is priced well. My advice is to outsource payroll for sure.

I’ve now been at Trinet a couple of years and we do PEO for small and medium businesses. Basically, if you want benefits (and any kind of HR help), you should at least entertain a PEO quote. It can make a ton of sense in certain industries/businesses, multi state in particular.

@ chewbacca, who are you with?

Happy to give advice and discuss with anyone that needs help on this stuff.

  5. Does anyone have a knee scooter or similar type device they can loan or sell? I injured my foot hoopin and could use some support in any way. Knee scooter, iwalk crutch device, encouragement, jokes, Bill $$$, anything so my wife and job don’t run me off.

    1. Yes, I’m getting old

    2. At least I was on offense

Injury Details: fractured lisfrank and fibula in left foot

  6. Headin to Denver and surrounding areas 1/19-1/28 for my bday. I like all kinds of delicious beers so recs are welcomed. Also, any thoughts on denver winter brew fest happening 1/25-126? Worth a day?

Going to nuggets game 1/26 if any locals are down.

  7. Well I was meaning that they’ve convinced people to hoard Sputnik.

Right, abw marketing convinced me to hoard. It has nothing to do with the fact that I love this beer and sharing it with family/friends, lol.
  8. I wanna see us actually press more on defense
On offense I wanna see better off the ball movement on offense and outside shooting improvement or teams will just continue to clog the lane and dare us to shoot outside. A guy like sims is not a post up, back to the basket post but a wide open lane toss up oop post. The only way he gets those types of opportunities is if we consistently hit the jumper so those drive lanes are open.

Can’t wait for season, ready for our team to do all of this. Most importantly shoot well, free throws included.
