well yes because AJ was hot as hell in the first half and Coleman made 2 or 3? 2nd half, no AJ, Sims kept trying his post moves, Ramey sucks, and Coleman was cold.

Coleman and Ramey were a combined 7 of 14 from 3.  They were also a combined 1 of 12 from inside the arc.

we are just reversing. start out bad and get hot late.  this year hot early.  I was hoping something had changed but its the same.  as soon as the shooting goes we are done because we rebound like an 8th grade girls team(except for Brown).  I was waiting for us to come down to earth on shooting.

We actually shot better from 3 than we did for 2.

Shaka SHOULD HAVE called a freaking  TO 3mim into the start of the 2nd Half to light up their collective asses.  It is my opinion They lost this game in the first 4min of H2.

To be fair he did call a timeout after we gave up 4 straight to start the half

  4. Sims can be great for 20% of his time on the floor.  The other 80% he plays lazy and then can't shoot FT's.  Add that to Ramey and Coleman just flat out playing poorly in the 2nd half and it was hard to overcome.  Very disappointing loss.  Hopefully they learn from it.

I could watch the Kai Jones block, turn, and beat everyone down the court for a catch and layup all day. It was so nice.

Yeah Kai is a beast out there for sure.  I am glad we have both of them.  Sims does a lot of dirty work and Kai has some ESPN top 10 offensive skills.

Tbf - I didn't find a lot of ranked B12 road wins looking at '03, '06 and '08. But these aren't really "road" games that these guys are playing this season.

You're entitled to your opinion. Sims rebounding sure as shit didn't impress me down the stretch and he should have picked up his 5th on the play where GB picked up the foul instead.

Shaka has overall been great this season. His inability to get Kai involved in the offense still makes me want to rip my hair out. The flashes that that guy has are next level shit.

Kai played 21 minutes in the game.  Sims played 17.  I know he sat for a good portion of both halves.  Every time he came in in the 2nd half he picked up a foul immediately and headed right back to the bench.   He definitely didn't play a great game but he was much more disruptive to Culver.

They were both getting outboarded. So at least play the guy that gives you instant offense at times and shot blocks. Sims had 3 rebounds on the day...

That's cause he was on the bench with foul troublem. Don't get me wrong Simms played horrible. But Jones needs to work on his rebounding too.  When he was in Simms did a better job on Culver.  Jones passed him off multiple times sometimes to Cunningham which was a big time miss match.

No. This isn't on the refs. Honestly, it's on me for getting emotionally invested in this team again only to see Shaka is incapable of doing simple things like playing a future lottery pick more than 25 minutes. He might, you know, accidentally make a couple of game changing plays to steal a road win.

That's why Simms was in.  Kai Jones been getting schooled on the boards

    Yeah .. that’s it.

Call on Hamm, Call on Coleman, no call when Ramey gets tripped?  Not saying we aren't causing our own problems too but we are gonna have to battle the refs in this one.
