Clock management was masterful and it clearly pissed the hoodie off, which is great. Maybe they should have kept AB, lol

yep, shoulda kept AB, despite being a headcase. He delivers on the field, speed burner, can't be stopped. Still though, no one is beating Baltimore in the AFC.

Hope they give Brady a 2 yr contract, how could they not? I mean, is there a viable starter out there?

  2. there's good reason to have retained Beck but too late. Orlando had no business being on campus but it's too late for Beck. The downside risk is a worse hire at OC, but only time will tell.

  3. Luka better improve the 3 if he's compared to Bird, so that's not a good fit.  He's more of a Magic/Jason Kidd hybrid than anything else. Remember early Jason Kidd of the 90s Mavs fans? That guy was one of the most electric young guys ever. I remember when he blew up Clyde Drexler for 48 points.

This isn't true.  Their base offense is a 1-1.  1 RB, 1 TE usually flexed or slotted and 3 WRs.  Now, sometimes they'd go 1-2 with 2 TEs, usually flexed off the line.  They have a good TE group so they would use them in multiple groupings and as sort of big WRs too in the slot.  They rarely had 1 WR out there unless speciality play.

    i didn't see 3 WRs much, mostly 1 and 2 wides.

    Q. Over these eight practices, what did you and your defensive staff see from Cort to have confidence in giving him a start today, and with you being down a few linebackers, how big was his play?

HEAD COACH TOM HERMAN: Oh, yeah, Cort's a great story. You know, if there was a Scout Team Player of the Year award, he would have won it probably back-to-back years. He's really tough, really physical and just understands football. He sees the game really, really well, and we knew that -- you know, we were going to be short in that area, especially with Joe and Jeff playing close to the line of scrimmage needing those guys to play close to the line of scrimmage. We were going to need him to be in that rotation and he came through in a big way.

he plays like a coach on the field

Had to miss most of the game.  From what little I saw the defense looked really solid.

What were the main differences?  Looked like we stopped doing delayed blitzes and instead put a lot of pressure on the qb

looking at the video upthread, Utah's formations usually had only 1 or 2 WRs -- very old school so Texas was putting 7 or 8 defenders in the box allowing for physical domination.  Spreads with 3-5 WRs are a different animal.
