CNN already starting with conservative websites are down because so many people are trying to donate, and how some radical republicans who were never trumpers aren’t happy with this verdict

Trump could literally die tonight/tomorrow and there's a decent chance CNN would say his death would cause either:

    1. More people to come out and vote for him even though he's dead because...reasons
    2. Everyone will rally around Don Jr/Eric/Rudy as the new nominee to continue his work

I can't even muster enthusiasm.  There's no point to this.  He won't go to prison and he'll still be on the ballot and 90% of Republicans (which happens to be about as many voters as it takes to win an election in this country) won't change their mind one bit.

No one already voting for Trump was changing their vote, regardless of outcome.  A subset of the small number of people currently undecided could be off-put by idea of voting for a convicted felon.  I'll gladly take that possibility.

The other options of this case would do nothing but give ammunition that it was a sham or that he's being unfairly targeted.

OJ hired the dream team and walked away free. Trump hired the dumbest legal team ever

Time to play "Are you smarter than an ex-football player with serious brain injury?"  The answer is no, at least when it comes to picking lawyers.

  4. Need to have Reggie Miller on First Take tomorrow as another fuck you to Stephen A Smith, the Knicks, their fans, and their overrated "Mecca of Basketball."

  5. All I ask is that Denver/Minnesota/Dallas/OKC curb stomp Boston I'm the finals.  One title this millennium and those fuckers and their fans still act like they're the class of the NBA.

  6. Still more than enough time left, but Minnesota really should have cut the lead more in the 3rd quarter when Jokic had to sit with 4 fouls.

Indy just not tough enough for playoffs.  Knicks wanting it more during 3rd qtr.

New York just needs a few more injuries to balance the scales.  The lingering injury to Haliburton isn't completely offset by Anunoby, Randall, Bogdanovic, and Robinson being completely out of the games.  Need Brunson and either Hart or DiVencenzo to tweak something just to be safe.

  8. Pat Riley chose violence today.

    1. Butler isn't getting a contract extension, needs to keep his mouth shut when he's not on the court, and needs to play more games in-season.
    2. Herro needs to work on his nutrition and conditioning.
    3. Spo doesn't know what he's doing on offense of defense.

I'm sure Butler in particular will just let those comments slide.  Might as well trade him for peanuts now before he torches your franchise.

Seems like the Kawhi thing went off the rails after Lue got there - Kawhi had the Toronto year, then his first year for the Clippers was second team all NBA and they had the epic collapse with Doc Rivers in the bubble. That looked like a potential title team at the moment Lue got hired.

Ah yes, the bubble year where everyone got 3-4 months off to rest up for the stretch run and playoffs.  There's the answer, Clippers just need to ask the league to institute an in-season, quarter-year load management break.

That dude is gonna end up selling the team when he realizes just how fucked the future is for them.

Nick Wright predicted Ishbia sells the Suns before any of the NBA expansion teams plays a single game, using Prokhorov as the example.  It's going to get real ugly for Ishbia for the next few years as Durant and Beal continue to age, they can't draft anyone, and Booker starts to pout about wasting his prime.

The Suns, Lakers, and Clippers would kill to be in that position.  The Heat might not be willing to kill, but they'd consider it.

  12. Tobias Harris tonight in 29 minutes, 0 points on 2 shots, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.  Never let the Sixers forget than they chose to keep him and Ben Simmons over Jimmy Butler.

  13. Until those FTs, Embiid was sitting at 2pts scored in the 4th quarter...again.  Sixers probably rely on him too much on both ends of the floor and yes he's injured, but this seemingly happens every year.

Knicks fans are going to go flying off of the Empire State Building if they fuck this up

Are we including Stephen A Smith?  Or is he gonna hedge his bets and claim he's also Sixers fan?

Probably an unpopular opinion here but I don’t see much difference between Jalen Brunson’s foul-baiting and James Harden’s.

Give it 2-3 years.  He's getting a pass for now as the media wants New York relevant.

  16. Whelp, sounds like Sixers fans doubled down on selling their tickets.  Either that or the former Sixers ownership was full of shit about purchasing thousands of tickets.

    Miami gargling Celtic balls. Bummer.

Miami went through the same process with the Bucks a few years ago.  Embarrassed them in the bubble, then got swept in the 1st round the following year.  They should be happy they didn't mortgage their future to acquire Beal/Lillard to get the same result.

Brooks, Nash and Monty didn't need help getting killed. I don't think he had any issues with Billy D. There was drama on the Ws but that was an awkward situation for everyone - I don't think he ever wanted Kerr gone or anything like that.

The Suns have a bigger roster issue than they do a coaching issue, but at the same time I'm not going to pretend like Vogel did an amazing job or anything this season. I think he was fine in the regular season and then got pantsed in the playoffs.

Durant keeps finding/putting himself in less than optimal situations and then complaining about them. It's like he just wants to play pick-up ball without much accountability.

Nash may have been a terrible coach on his own merits, but Durant and Kyrie should still get partial credit for that debacle.  They wanted Atkinson fired and wanted someone who was more of a friend/teammate in the coaching role.

  19. Miami dark magic strikes again, they end up winning even after faceplanting in their offseason pursuit of Beal or Lillard.  They weren't getting by Boston this year, let alone Denver/OKC/Minny.  Maybe they somehow shuffle deck chairs along with Phoenix and get Durant since Ishbia is probably going to do something stupid again.

Good thing they locked down PG for the next few years instead of the malcontent who can't stay health...oops.
