I was in San Antonio this weekend, and every time I saw a fat woman I thought to myself "Charles Barkley is right."

There will be 4 within your line of sight at all times.

I used to do NIOSA back in college. Drunk fights and trashy people just aren't my thing and like Lebong James said above, big crowds are just an instant avoid at his point of my life.

If I was Sark I’d gather the offense staff, Quinn, and Arch together at the beginning of Fall camp and explain this coaching decision. This would be the plan going into each game and the players will then know it, as well as expect it.

Every third possession of the 1st Qtr, Arch is going into the game with the 1’s, unless the opponent just pinned us deep, like within the 5, then it would be the next possession, regardless of the score: up, down, or tied.

Quinn would then go back into the game, as he is the starter, even if Arch just led the team down the field for a TD, FG, or nothing. It’s all just a plan to have a more “active / utilized” backup.

I would even do the second possession of the 2H, with the same already being planned before hand. Waiting on the waning minutes of and out of hand game doesn’t give him game experience, especially just handing off, throwing short routes, and taking a knee. And nobody wants to see Quinn get hurt in order to finally see Arch get meaningful snaps with the 1’s.

I bet Mack wished he had an “experienced GG” in the ‘09 Rose Bowl.

  3. It's $31/lb after the price cut? Jesus, what was it before? I've never been there based off the general tone of this thread regarding Heim so I have no fucking clue.

I was pretty heavy into the sauce on Saturday night when we watched E1 so my memory is a little fuzzy. I don't know what in the ever-loving fuck she ever did at the very beginning that got these morons to follow her lead in the first place because starting in E2, she's just a booze/weed-addled jackass who brings on raving asshole to be the Father God.

This doc was especially interesting because my ex is nuttier than a shithouse rat and is into all this New Age shit (mixed with a little bipolar/manic depression). She actually went on a spiritual retreat to Mt Shasta in 2018 about the time this group was out there. My ex also believes that she will "rotate" off the Earth at some point and go live on some other planet. I haven't gotten the courage to ask her if she knows anything about Amy Carlson or not. My guess is probably not because my wife is definitely not into the drug scene and probably hasn't had more than a sip or two of alcohol in 10 years or more.

She didn't really do anything in particular. When she got into the relationship with that 80 year old almost homeless guy the weird townsfolk started listening to both of their nonsensical ramblings and they both gained a local following. After that she set up a web page and started live streaming her drivel on YT to the masses and people seeking "gurus" to follow found her. She promptly dumped the old man and broke off on her own to start the cult and got a younger "father god". Shit is insane.

Anybody watch the three-part documentary "Love Has Won: The Cult of Mother God"? A buddy watched is last week and said it was pretty wild so we fired it up this weekend and blew through it. My ex-wife believed/s in some of the same shit and even went on a spiritual retreat to Mt Shasta back in 2018 when this group was there. I don't my ex was a direct follower of Mother God, mostly because of the substantial use of drugs/booze by Mother God. At any rate, it's a breezy 3-hour trip.

I'm two episodes into this and holy fuck are all these people insane. The mental makeup of the people that can fall for cult leaders is a fascinating study. Imagine being one of her three kids "Mother God" abandoned to start a faux science driven cult with her as the diety, just terrible.

Red is 5’10’’ish right? That is way, way too heavy unless he’s Jerome Bettis.

We all laugh about Sweat’s weight, but UW zeroed his fat ass out and the weight is going to make him drop in the draft. Don’t repeat this lesson with Mitchell.

Sweat played his role perfectly. It was our DE's and pass rush that never got close to the QB that was the issue.

  7. My 8yo started his first year of kid pitch a couple weeks ago. His normal throw has a sidearm hitch that we're working through with some towel drills and other youtube tutorials for fixing it. Surprisingly, over the last week he's ditched his shitty attitude toward going to practice or drilling at home and looks to have found a competitive edge. Probably after gauging himself against some of the better players on his team. He's about 4" taller than the next tallest kid so he's kind of awkward like a baby giraffe.

At the very least, the "want to" has dramatically increased and today there was a school teacher work day, so I showed him a couple drills that he was working on in the yard while I worked from home and took breaks to see how he was doing and work with him a bit.

I'm hoping to fix the hitch in his throw then slide into pitching basics since he's a lefty. Lots of work to do but I couldn't be more proud of the steps he's taken so far.

Sorry for the boring story lol.

Slightly related; slightly off-topic question.  Does UT have any Tom Landry related honors like a statue or anything on campus?  As an alum and lifelong (don't judge me) Cowboy fan, I actually didn't even know Landry attended UT until I read his autobiography.  Sports aside, he accomplished quite a lot in WWII as a B-17 pilot.

CDC mentioned there's a display just for him in the hall of honor
