Mickey mouse Big 12 schedule. Reminds me to a degree when OU would routinely put up 50-60 a week on shitty Big 12 defenses and then get into these kinds of games and while not look as bad as this, nowhere near what they normally looked like. Just like those OU teams, Tech benefitted from a massive talent spread. QB had all day to throw and they just played pitch and catch for easy big gains all day and ran teams off the field with talent alone. Well, that isn't going to happen once you get outside that conference.
But while saying that, Texas also played in the same conference but never took a massive dip in play level when we got to these games. So yeah, fuck OU and the Big 12, and Tech.

Ahhhh ok didn't know that,. don't really follow Tech.
I do know Morton did miss a few games this season. I wonder if he's still battling injury.
But the thing is, Morton and this offense tore up the Big 12 with ease. Shows you how much of a pile of shit that conference is. Same as Arizona St last year that got a bye. I get they came back and damn near won but they were still shitty and their comeback was directly because of UT dicking around, not them actually being talented.

Just now, hundredTT said: I hate the old “Put in backup” cliche. But Morton may be the worst QB I’ve ever seen, this game. Like they have another 3 and out to start the next half, I’d have to think about it. I know it won’t happen, but this is a joke.
Didn't Saban do this in the national champ game against Georgia? Hurts looked pretty bad and he went with the young Tua and he pulled out the win. And this was with Hurts actually having past success. He lost his job that night and never got it back.

Ohio St, Georgia, Vandy, OU for sure. I think aggy beats them, too.
Tech taking advantage of a gutted, mickey mouse version of the Big 12. It jus took Texas, OU, aggy, Nebraska, Mizzou, Colorado leaving for them to finally have their turn of even making the Big 12 title game.

How in the world did Miami look like dogshit to aggy but handled OSU from the early stages of the game? I won't lie, I bought into OSU and thought they would roll last night, especially seeing Miami against aggy.
They honestly looked like the same shitty team we played to start the season, except Arch was making his first start as the full time starter and we were on the road. All those skilled WRs they are supposed to have were kept quiet, like they were in game 1.
I do wonder if aggy could have also beat Ohio State, not sure if their DL could have caused the havoc Miami did. That was the main key. Sayin couldn't stand in the pocket for an hour scanning the field against shitty, slow farm Big 10 defenses. Miami has athletes with size and speed all over. I didn't see that from OSU. I guess that Big 10 championship was a precursor because Indiana was physical up front and didn't allow OSU to get into a groove.

Ohio St. That's why it was big for Miami to hold them to no points and not get something building. But it seems Ohio St might have figured out some things to get things rolling a little on offense for the 2nd half. They moved the ball about 70yds on that drive.

How the FUCK did smu beat them?? smh
Bad Beck showed up that day and to Louisville. He can be really bad when he's off. He was pretty shitty in the SEC championship game but we couldn't take advantage and then I think he got hurt anyways which actually helped Georgia.

Brings back memories of last year's semifinals game on their eventual game winning drive. 2 blatant holds on the 3rd down that were right in front of the ref, no call at all. The OSU QB was about to get lit up and we were going to get the ball back again tied with good field position. And that wasn't the only play like that.

2026 Orange Bowl - Oregon vs. Texas Tech
in Football
Of receiving them? Yep, in my POF days, too many times.
There's definitely an art to getting a good one. No reason to settle for mediocre fellas.
