  1. A road win vs. a team that hates your guts is always a positive, but we’re not “rolling” yet.

4 times this year, the team has done what we’re supposed to do and, today, even played down to the level of the opponent with mistakes and a little mild panic.

Sark did outcoach Fatterson, but not by a landslide.

It’s OK to be gruntled with a win Herman would have shit the bed and lost in regulation or OT….

The Prove It part of the season starts Saturday in Dallas.

  2. This, also, was another case of the marketing people revealing WAY TOO MUCH in the trailers.

It was a bit paint-by-numbers and not a satisfying plot flow for a standalone movie. Limited run series would have probably been way better. We didn’t really see why the Great Dickie Moltisanti was so great. And that was what they were selling in the hype leading to the release. Pretty fun two hours but not a classic mob film or up to the level of a great Sopranos episode.

  3. Really enjoyed it. Wow.

Not perfect by any means and it meandered at times, but it was a really fun 2 hours back in the Sopranos universe…

I don’t get all the moronic 2-star ratings going “where was the psychology??? Should have introduced more characters! More glib pop culture references!”

There was a lot to unpack and serve in 2 hours. It could have been a KILLER 6 or 10 episode series. Maybe we’ll get more….

  4. Good price (vs. satellite)

    Good channel lineup

    Unlimited DVR

    No LHN

    cancel any time

easy to watch on all your devices

they’re squabbling with NBC Universal right now, so there’s a threat they might lose the NBC channels for sometime. Those things usually blow over though or work themselves out.

I listened to a podcast that discussed Frank Vincent's contract negotiations. Everyone tried to renegotiated their deal midseason 6.  His character was in the hospital in that episode but he heard that the proposed scripts for next season had him as an important character. Frank Vincent asked for a raise and Chase and or HBO were like "you know, your character could easily die there in that hospital and we will rewrite it and you'll make nothing." Thank God he kept with it. He is one of the best villains in TV history.  "Waive bye Pop Pop, say Bye"

  6. A young Blundetto would have been cool to see.

Also, I’ve read a lot of articles were they detail which characters will have younger versions of themselves in the movie, but I haven’t seen any reference to anyone play a young Jackie Aprile….
