  1. I will say that staring up at only six teams ranked higher than us feels so much better than staring up at possible bowl eligibility. This team has come a long way. It has also caught some lucky breaks while executing better at some key positions that in years past. That all  should bode well if we learn to execute better and better as the weeks go by.

Lots to clean up, but still lots to be optimistic about at this point in the season.

Up to now, it sounds like Sark is telling Manning, and the Manning family, that he thinks MM is a better option. Maybe he'll change his view in the off season - or maybe he won't. If Ewers returns next year, which is a strong possibility, who the hell thinks Manning is going to play third string next year? Redshirting is not an option. Sure, Arch, we'll give you a chance to be backup, which itself would only mean you'll throw five passes in four games next year - that is, unless we continue to think MM deserves more of a chance than you.

Manning isn't gonna stick around for this bullshit. Again, redshirting is not an option. He's got a career in the NFL waiting for him, and if that means jumping on an amazing opportunity at FSU, or Georgia, or who knows, Notre Dame, he'll take it.

MM isn't gonna win another game. They've got his number now. He's had two games, and IMHO, he'll never make the pros. You cannot risk losing Manning because MM is a great guy and wonderful human being. They're all great guys - but if Sark loses Manning to keep MM around, he better start polishing up his resume.

Should watching football require some kind of license??

Some of the lunacy in this thread… Holy shit.

  3. I really worry that Sark is trying to win the stats game over the long-haul sample size versus applying the decision that wins the particular game his team is playing in at the moment.

I get that if a Steph Curry shoots more three-pointers eventually that will net out to more points even if he misses at fairly high rate as long/as he makes a fair amount. Football will just simply bite you in the ass much faster if you fuck around like that. Stop trying to win the weird stats battle. Common sense, always prevails, especially when you have better athletes than the other team.

Just win, please, by making winning in-game decisions and play calls.

  4. From the stands it looked like Cook fell down/got shoved on MM’s first INT, making the the pass look way shittier than it was.

The second one was horrible. He has to learn to holster that or throw it away.

He’s not totally terrible, though. Scary and dangerous at times, but capable of production. And winning. The “we won in spite of Maalik” take is senseless.

  5. Tried to laugh but that stumbling off the escalator and scream-slurring “Spav” video feels like it was three presidents ago. However long ago, it’s a helluva brutal run of being a raging, pathetic alcoholic. Time to heed the expiration date on that shit.

Fuck this shitty conference and their no holding calling refs. Fucking bullshit

Totally, but the rest of the  games are going to be called the same way. Our O line was literally wearing their D line all fucking day. Putrid.
