That's really neat actually.

Baylor's defense is getting scorched now after appearing fairly stout early. Their offense cut their legs out from under them about a half dozen times and they're now shell shocked.
But that won't stop half this board from sobbing all over themselves about the apparent relative superiority of WVU. Jesus the last eight years have made pussies out of this fanbase.

Any explanation as to why our defense didn’t look this good against Baylor? WVU looks scary good tonight. I understand Ehlinger was hurt but Brewer looked decent against us.
I have no idea why Charlie Brewer, who grew up going to games at DKR, watching his family play there, and dreaming of playing there himself, might've played better last game than he is here in Morgantown.
-
I sure hope we beat OSU this weekend so that I can hear all the fawning over WVU next week and the picks for them to take us down in Austin.
-
Brewer is literally shitting all over himself right now.
-
Brewer's not playing as well as he was last week.
-
So far the movable object of Baylor's rush defense is getting the better of the resistible force that is WVU's rushing offense.
-
Throw that ball next week Grier and meet Caden Sterns.

A man who makes over $5 million per year shouldn't be afraid to take responsibility for a player like Brooks, who is as talented as he is troubled. He should have the sand to try and make a player go more Randy Moss than Robert Timmons.
Fuck. This.
Rationalizations like this lead to women being assaulted on your campus. This isn't fucking hypothetical. We have a recent example an hour and a half up the road. I could give a shit about drugs or payoffs or the like but there's a line and mercenary attitudes like the one you espouse have real consequences.

I think I read on some board that there may be slight character issue? But I could be thinking of Mel Brooks ...
I'm out of rep for the day but lulz.

I’m just curious how CTJ acquired this information.
You should demand he reveal his sources.

Penn State, assuming that Southern Cal fell behind them. There's a chance that the Trojans would have stayed ahead of them.
We would have done unholy and borderline illegal things to Penn State.
Rhythmic slapping imo.

This is pretty much exactly how I would rate it, although I would put ‘98 before ‘07. We got so fucked in ‘08.
That was outright Okie thievery that should never be forgiven or forgotten. Fucking scumbags.

I don’t know announcer names well. Is this the yayhoo who couldn’t stop saying the Baylor had outplayed us for all but like 4 minutes?
Correct.

Bama, this year, is better than 2005 Texas. And I don't say that lightly. Bama already had NFL talent at every position going into this season--but now they also have a VYesque quarterback.
You trumpet your cuckism proudly. Of course any comparison of those two teams is completely subjective but making such a claim less than halfway through the season is silly and mewling as a Texas fan. Try to keep retain some fucking dignity.

Lol “nitpicking”
you literally said Leal has zero interest in aggy and then he committed to them two weeks later.
i bring it up as a point of irony only after you said I was “less informed”...and your response? I’m nitpicking. Perfect.
you also said I offer nothing regarding predictions. My strong advice is to head over to the football board. I correctly guaranteed wins over USC, TCU and OU. I started this the day after we lost to Maryland and I was unwavering. I correctly called the majority of posters on this website massive vaginas for the chicken little psyche they let permeate in every post after our opening loss. To say the least my predictions this season have been very unpopular at the time but proven correct.
You're fucking tiresome.

If this happens, Herman would have sent a much bigger shockwave than Mack did with Sims and Redding.
Number one spell his name right: Simms.
Number two that's not correct. While it would certainly make a huge splash you're not appreciating the magnitude of the Simms signing in 1999. The signing of the #1 player in the nation-who was the son of a Super Bowl MVP and famous broadcaster-to a team that had been pretty much irrelevant for 17 years, made waves even outside of recruiting circles. McCoy and Sanders would be HUGE recruiting news. Signing Simms (and to a lesser extent Redding) made college football news.

Tell that to Art Briles.
Edit: in case this reference is too obscure, I am of course talking about 2008, when we beat OU and had the same record as OU, yet OU went to the MNC ahead of us because, iirc, OU was ahead in the coaches poll thanks largely to Art Briles and a few others who put us ridiculously low. Someone correct me if I am misremembering the details.
You are not incorrect. It was calculated collusion and an okie theft of the highest order. It cost Colt the Heisman, us a Big 12 title and a NC game berth. It should never be forgotten.

I am sitting in a bar in a tiny town in the deep woods of Northern Minnesota listening to a drunken barroom crowd sing "Family Tradition" at the top of their lungs and all I can say is that I am very, very excited about the recruits that Tom Herman and coaches are bringing in. If we give this coaching staff another couple of years, this rocket ship will blast off and rock the world of college football.
What town?
