Zach Harrison, Master Teague, Tyler Friday and Harry Miller will not play, because of Plague contact tracing. Sounds like we're following B1G Plague procedures yet. Which is bullshit.
You beat me to it. But Teague is out because of injury. I actually think Miyan Williams will be an improvement. Teague was terrible against Clemson after Dobbins was injured in last year's game.

LG Harry Miller, RB Master Teague, DE Zach Harrison, and DE Tyler Friday out for Ohio State. Miller is only starter, but Harrison and Friday are good rotational players. That will impact Ohio St's DL depth as the game wears on.

Here's some things to look out for tonight:
1. Expect Ohio St to aggressively attack Clemson downfield in the first half. Clemson safety Nolan Turner will miss the first half because of targeting against ND. Turner is Clemson's most experienced DB and the field general of Clemson's secondary. Expect Ohio State to try to isolate Turner's replacement in coverage with Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave.
2. Watch Clemson WRs vs. Ohio St DBs if you want an early indication of who will win this game. Both units have dropped off since last year. Clemson lost Tee Higgins and Justyn Ross. Ohio St lost Okudah, Damon Arnette and Jordan Fuller. Since Ohio St's front 7 is so good, Clemson will have to win in the passing game in order to open up the rest of the offense.
3. Clemson's secondary is great on paper. But in addition to missing Turner in the first half, they are missing AJ Terrell, Isaiah Simmons, and Tanner Muse from last year's secondary. Clemson also did not play the only other elite passsing attack in the ACC, North Carolina. Whether Clemson's secondary is as good as their stats suggest is an open question.

Browns fans suddenly hating the 70's Oakland Raiders.
Browns have plenty enough reason to hate the Raiders after last night.

Are you talking about the one that hit Golden Tate in the facemask because he was trying to body catch it?
The lack of arm strength was not the issue necessarily. It was the first drive. They were in the red zone, receiver was wide open but Colt's throw took so long to get there Karl Joseph had time to close on the receiver and break it up. Don't know if it was Golden Tate, I believe it was a TE.

Colt McCoy is not worse than 32 other people playing quarterback in this league
He has a noodle arm and cost the Giants a TD because of it.

Great system.
Indiana is #7 in the AP poll and their bowl game is a 4-5 Ole Miss team. Most Indiana fans want to cancel the bowl and play Purdue instead.

That line will come down
I think it will stay there. I'm surprised it wasn't greater based off how yesterday played out.

Clemson is just as good as Bama. Their lone loss came without their heisman QB and missing a lot of their front 7 in a thriller to ND.
It's Bama, Clemson and then a steep drop off to the rest. It will be Clemson/Bama pt 4 and I am fine with that if we are going to have a shitty 4 team playoff.
I don't think so. Clemson doesn't have the wide receivers they usually do and their defense is not special. The only position group where I'd say Clemson has a clear advantage is QB, and that's not that big of an advantage because Mac Jones is really good.

do you SEC bro? SEC rules the roost.
There is no comparison in the national draw between ND and A&M. The CFP already rejected delaying the playoff because they don't want to compete with NFL playoffs for ratings. They are not going to turn down a blue blood matchup with national appeal for a faux SEC team that has no appeal outside of Texas.

4 TD win by Clemson puts Aggy, imo and it is not close.
Clemson gets the ball to start 2nd half, scores TD, and they are pretty much there.
You're forgetting that A&M-Bama would be a rematch of a 30 pt blowout. Do you think the four letter network is going to let ND-Bama be turned down for blowout rematch?

Incredible pick

The Browns-Titans game was cancelled so CBS decided to replay last night's Alabama-LSU game in the 1pm NFL slot.

Is it still too early to talk about how vastly overrated Derek Stingley is? He’s good but apparently he was the second coming according to the media
He's ridiculously talented but the skill set has not caught up to the body. CBs can take awhile to develop. Okudah was not great until the Rose Bowl of his sophomore year. From that game onward he was the best DB in CFB.

Inb4 Ohio St gets knocked out of the Big Ten championship because of Covid but still makes the playoffs with a 5-0 record over Aggy. Without a modicum of irony they will say that it's bullshit that Ohio State did not make the Big Ten championship and still made the playoffs.

Ohio State's pass defense is a fraud. OP's title holds up.
That would imply that people thought they were great, which no one did. This is also a year where Notre Dame gave up 450 passing yards to a Clemson true freshman QB and Alabama gave up 600 yards of offense to freaking Ole Miss. I'll take Penix, Fryfogle et al over Matt Corral or DJ Uiagalelei and their receivers, so Ohio St's secondary is playing on par with the other top teams.

Ohio State would/will be lucky to stay within 20 of Alabama. Their secondary is just so ripe.
You're not considering that Indiana's defense is much better than Bama's

This reminds me of a many a Tony Orlando defense. Do really well for a time and then give up a giant explosive play for a TD.
That's generally how these defenses work. They get really aggressive with the pass defense, then they get caught in a bad run fit against a good run play.
-
Didn't you hear? Indiana is a fraud.

Shelve the "B1G refs protect Ohio State" conspiracy for this game. Refs denied Ohio St two fumble recoveries. The first one was indisputably a fumble and the second one was probably a fumble.

How is that a smart play with score 16 to 7 with pending extra point?
Because it ends the game.

If you’re a Georgia fan you have got to be beside yourself at how Smart handles the QB position. He has the #1 recruit in the country in Justin Fields and plays Jake friggin Fromm instead. Loses him to tOSU in the transfer portal. Smart does everything else well-recruiting is top notch and player development is excellent. If UGA had Fields playing for them, they’d have won a championship with the talent they have. Starting the fucking walk-on is a joke. He needs to play the dual threat QBs on his roster.
I wouldn't call Georgia's player development excellent. They have recruited as well as Bama but they still appear behind Bama, Ohio St, and Clemson on talent level.

What retard thinks that's not a fumble? He literally dropped the ball and has his hand on top of it.
