HJ opens to $7. I $20 w AQo. BTN calls and HJ calls. $64 pot.

Ks4s2d. HJ chk, I $35, BTN folds. HJ calls. $130 pot.

    Qc. Chk chk

    5s. He bets $60 and I don’t have a spade. I fold but don’t love it.

Depending on stack sizes I would bet the turn. He can easily have a middle pair here or a draw. As played I would probably fold the river there also.

Having dealt the occasional shift for a while now, I can tell you the machinations you describe are trickier than it appears while sitting as a player.

It doesn’t help that you often have like 4 people barking instructions, which are incorrect about 25% of the time.

One thing that I do, and appreciate from dealers, is announcing what I’m doing when building pots or when we have multiple pots at showdown: “OK, I am going to pull in $75 from every stack, that’s our main pot, the rest is on the side between you three” or I’d say the bet was $200 and a guy is allin for $180, three ways “OK, $20 from both of you going on the side, headsup for that pot.”

I hate when dealers start just cutting and shoveling chips around when it’s obvious they are lost in it. Just pause, speak what you’re doing, take an extra 3 seconds to get it right.

I would say the barking of instructions is wrong more like 99.9 percent of the time from players.

  3. Wow day one at the wsop big 50 was a SHIT SHOW! I waited in the fast track line for over 2 hours. We I finally got to my seat I proceeded to lose ever fucking hand i played. I got down to 25k at 600-1200 and felt good  getting my money in with KK on a 678 flop( I had raised preflop to 3300 and small and big both called) king turn! and 2 river. Small blind announced straight at turns over 59 off suit. Sigh.

I think that's going to be close to the number. I think one issue is that the structure is good enough that people won't bust fast enough to open seats to really churn people through on the Sat/Sun flights. Just dunno if the Thu/Fri flights will be as full. Playing Thu flight, you are committed to 8 days if you make the FT. That's a long time to commit to a $500 tourney. I'm anticipating some pissed off people who fly out Sat to play on Sun and either get shut out or are in a massive alternate pile and get in around dinner.

Yes please. Yeah, sky, feel free to holler when you're out there, man. LFG!

I 100 percent agree Sunday is gonna be a clusterfuck. Not only will it include everyone who didn’t make a day 2 from the first three flights, but also all the people who busted day 2 of flight A and B and want to play the event again. I am getting my debit card approved on bravo app just so I can sign up for the next day as soon as I get knocked out.

yes. when you sign up for a wait list and drive there it lets the club know when you are pulling up.
But there's no reason for it to track my movements the other 160 hours of the week.

Played a short session tonight as I needed to go to lowes and heb. Sat down around 7:15 and left at 9:30 up $1066. Only played about 5 hands past the flop and won at least half of every one. Two times I got nut/nut and potted the whole way down and got called and scooped, with both people having second nut/second nut.

Are you going to Vegas for WSOP? Ride that hot streak!

Game cast shows pence with a 456 ft hr and Forsythe with a 502 ft hr. That can’t be right, can it?

Pence HR was a legit 450+. The second home run was just a couple rows back in left.
