  1. Lulz. Stick it to the “man” bc somewhere, somehow, a corporation screwed someone. Greed abounds but I’m not purposefully deceiving a retailer to bring justice to the retail universe.

Theft doesn’t live in a vacuum and the corporations will find someway to make the rest of us pay for your bullshit.

The irony of this involving a Christmas tree shouldn’t be lost in all of this.

And yet that wasn’t the issue

Part of it. Two interceptions (one bad one and one deflected but thrown into tight coverage) and a low 3rd down conversion rate. Quinn did settle down but watching this OU secondary makes me think Texas could have had OSU game type passing yards.

the cheap money from external sources that is subsidizing the awesome experience at a cheap/free cost, needs a return

Ding ding. Eventually a loss needs to be gain for the investors.  For example, The awesome meal deals at H-E-B are a loss leader and they just hope that you make the difference on buying a lot of other for-profit crap. If they are open.

The seemingly free Facebook with a previous decent interface only made money after Meta boy sold all your data then clobbered you with targeted advertising.

It’s why Spirit airlines works, sucker you in with a cheap price then empty your wallet once you get there. And it helps them paynless tax on the ticket too.

So much to unpack here. Do you believe Elon Musk is just an ordinary individual?

or perhaps, and I’m just spitballing, that given his outsized control over several industries (including our national security) that extra scrutiny is warranted? Don’t worry, we don’t have to engage in defining “the news media” or why you apparently think Elon’s companies are being unfairly “targeted”

No, it means that regardless of the individual, the news media has a responsibility for actual journalism. This was a Necro story that was brought up for a specific reason. Then grabbed by several sources for rehash as it makes for great Clickbait. Please tell me that you are aware of the inherent biases and manipulation of the media. And yes cliche, this includes most of the media that swings to either side.

EXCLUSIVETesla robot ATTACKS an engineer at company's Texas factory during violent malfunction - leaving 'trail of blood' and forcing workers to hit emergency shutdown button

One in every 21 Giga Texas workers was injured on the job in 2022

It was from 2021 and it was a common industrial robot found in multiple factories. I'm certainly no Tesla fanboy but my pet peeve is shitty reporting and targeted releases of information because the news media has an axe to grind with certain individuals but then again, I went to school when they actually taught journalism.

Maybe if their fucking app functioned like like it was fucking supposed to I wouldn't have had to call their fucking ticket office and talk to a real live moron.  I'm sorry that my being old made their fucking app not function.

  7. WTH?

Southwest has lost its collective mind

So if you “identify” as a person of “extra” size you get to buy extra seats, notify the gate agent you will take extra seats and get refunded for all but one seat fare after the flight.

“That’s been the airline’s policy for ages. What I did not realize is that (1) they’ll let you reserve a whole row and (2) the current policy doesn’t even require the flight not to be full to refund the extra seats.”

And who pays for the lost revenue?

    crisis avoided !

Arch must be good for click bait bc every third rate “sports” site keeps pumping out transfer headlines for traffic. I imagine these same website teams sell high mileage used rental cars at small dealerships as a day job.
