All we needed was a sac fly and he grounds into a DP.

He sucks. This one could be over early
Absolutely horrible start. Franny should have had the bullpen warming up after the Torres AB.

Cody Bellinger hit .143, which is exactly what you expect from him.
Mookie hit .143 for the series.
Trea Turner was horrendous defensively.
Kershaw crying in the dugout.
I couldn't have hoped for a better ending to their season.

Altuve getting close
.He was dialed in.
Had it been in the strike Zone it would have been in the the left field bleachers.
Hes close guys.
If dialed in is swinging like a first year 9u player. He's been undisciplined and flailing. I want him to come through but I have more faith in anyone else in the lineup this series.

Altuve swinging at straight trash all game. Better break out Jobu.

Too damn close.

yall keep talking shit about pena not being able to hit breaking balls !
His previous at-bats didn't give me much confidence, but that and Hensley's walk were huge.

When they panned to the dugout and caught Yuli talking to Vazquez, I was convinced Yuli told Christian that Yordan was about to walk it off. This confirms my theory.

We tried Spring/Klein (SKSA) for summer league last year. It was a complete shitshow, I have no idea why ORWALL would piggyback off the idiocy we experienced there.
My wife is wanting to move our son to select ball in the fall. She is under the impression that the recent change in districting based on the side of I-45/high school zone is going to negatively impact us.

We were in section 128/129 4th row. If you were there you probably heard my kid screaming. I apologize on his behalf. Pretty happy to see none of yall were looking/posting pictures of my wife.

When I was little (30 years ago) everyone played t-ball the year they were in kindergarten. What happened to LL age rules? I thought I was ahead of the game by enrolling my 4 year old, only to discover I missed his K-ball and fall t-ball seasons and this is his final opportunity to play t-ball, moving up to coach pitch a month after he turns 5. Holy smokes I’m still trying to teach him which direction to run the bases! Oak Ridge/Woodlands had a real shortage of coaches this year too (or every year?) so I got upgraded to head coach as well. The most difficult part so far is explaining the tight short shorts to my wife.
ORWALL seems to have a shortage of coaches every year for my son's age group (8YO/machine pitch). I coached fall ball but my work schedule makes it impossible to be a head coach. I saved my kid the embarrassment of showing up in the Bike coaching shorts.

Yeah I mean just because you're big/strong/athletic doesn't mean you can fight. This point got hammered home for me when I was still in HS and I saw Eric Winston get his ass absolutely handed to him outside Graham's in Midland by a latino kid that barely came up to shoulder height on me and probably weighed 140 soaking wet. Even Cedric Benson was laughing about that one and they were teammates at the time 🤣
Wasn't Graham's in Odessa?

Just a heads up if you're in The Woodlands/Magnolia area, the Target on FM1498 and 2978 had some Xbox series X's in stock.
My wife was there while I was at the gym and called me about a toy for the kids. I jokingly told her to go ask if they had any series X's. They gave her one of a pallet that just came off the truck.

Chris Taylor single handedly kept the Dodgers in that series. I'm ecstatic that their Yankees style experiment blew up in their face. Only thing missing is the Dodger version of Jomboy coming up with conspiracy theories on how the Astros/Braves cheated.

Interesting. I could have sworn I saw it on the shelves at Spec's Houston maybe last year, but it was a 2 year. I only bought it because a 4 year. Willett can do some impressive things if you give them a few years to work with.
It was Spec's in The Woodlands (Rayford).
I've been a Wild Turkey 101 guy since my Army days and just started trying new bourbons in the last six months.

Willett Rye newb here. The 4 Year Single Barrel seems pretty tough to find.
I picked up a bottle of the 4 Year Small Batch, 110 proof this evening. Is it any good?
I bought the Willett Rye on Friday night along with Noah's Mill. The guy at Spec's told me that it was the first time in roughly three years that he had seen a bottle of Willett Rye. I'm having my first glass now, and it did not disappoint.

JV's only mistake was shaking off his catcher twice and throwing a meatball to Bader. He needs the damn run support that never seems to come when he pitches in the playoffs, with rare exception of game 1 of the ALDS.
