The roster going into THIS SEASON should have competed for a fucking national title. And it didn't. And that is why Herman is getting canned. Were you living under a rock when we played LSU to a score last season?
Maybe we can talk about all of the injuries and chronic inability to field our best starting lineups - another failure of the Herman coaching staff.
I really hope you're trolling, because if not you are box-of-rocks for brains shitass stupid and further outing yourself with every post.
Then you realize that the OC and DC were fired
No spring ball
Even fall practice was different
Not making the CFP with a brand new DC and not time to put his scheme in.

Well, he is recruiting so well. I'm sure we will be just fine.
If Chris Ash saves him he will.
But the problem is long-term. I think Herman does have an Ace card especially with Lincoln Riley.
Could make Riley look like a liar. Maybe Riley will run to the NFL

Imagine actually thinking Texas lacks players. We have 31 guys in the NFL despite sucking dick for going on 11 years now. It's not a players issue. It never has been, it never will be. Not to at least play better football than we have been. Maybe to consistently win national titles.
That isn't a lot to compete for a NC
If Texas sucks dick under Herman what you consider Texas under Charlie Strong.
I think we have doubled the NFL talent on the roster from when Herman first took over.
We didn't have much in terms of elite talent on his original roster.

But destroying the program to keep Herman.
As of now Herman is maintaining things. Keeping Texas a Top 25 program but not CFP.
Until Texas finds a coach who can make them a CFP you have to maintain.
This is where arrogance comes into play. But some people remember Charlie Strong. You can destroy us a lot more than what Herman is doing

Oh so you are a whole ass moron huh? Damn
Like watching a movie for the second time...
Who is next for this Urban show
LSU
Florida State
Florida
Georgia
But Herman can control it. Was just hard because of the limited snaps for the Defense.
But destroying the program to get rid of Herman
That is beyond stupid.
Because we will look like Tennessee did a couple of years ago.
No one will take the job

Sometimes people believe what they want to be true
If you want to know where Urban is at.
Pay attention to his wife

Well...
Lucky for some of us we saw everything play out at USC last year. Was like we were given a warning.
But some people missed what happened at USC and allowed our arrogance to get the best of us.
Meyer used his name as a weapon last year to destroy USC recruiting.
Comes to a point where no matter the coach you aren't going to win games because you lack the players

So your position is that Urban Meyer either wouldn't come here, or wouldn't be successful here because he "can't control" those websites? I'm not really understanding the point you're trying to make here. I don't think UM gives a shit about what Mike Roach might write about him on the internet.
He isn't coming here in the first place
But if there was a possibility he wanted to leave Ohio State
This would be something he looked at.
Watch last year's Fiesta Bowl...
You will see how connected Meyer still is with the Ohio St program
He is just on FOX to push an Ohio State Narrative.

Maybe the OSU “media” didn’t attack Meyer because he was competing for and winning national titles and not sucking shit through a straw like turtle Tom.
So they are actually already doing the work for Meyer.
But for Ohio State.
This really isn't about should or shouldn't Herman be removed
Kind of like we are screwing ourselves right now. Regardless of the coach if you don't have the players you won't win.
Why would Meyer want to be at a school who has media that would do the bidding for people outside of the program

There were not two things to get mixed up. You said "the media". That's one thing. I inferred that to mean local media, since you made the distinction that Austin was somehow unique as compared to Columbus.
What "media that covers the University of Texas" are you talking about, specifically, that is not local, that covers UT, but does not cover other national programs like Ohio State?
Meyer has turned everything into a weapon including his own name.
Ohio State is almost a cult like fanbase because the messages on their recruiting sites don't differ.
When you talk about media in relation to college football you are mainly speaking about the people who cover the university and majority of those are internet base.
IT, TFB, Horns247 and OrangeBloods will all be considered the media

This is a comically bad take. Media is almost non-existent in this city. The statesman? No one reads that paper. The Zone? They have absolutely zero stroke. The Horn? They're beholden to pump sunshine as the official station of UT. I'd argue that we have one of the least consequential and impactful media presences of a top 20 MSA in the nation.
Getting the two mixed up.
Not talking about Austin media. Talking about the media that covers the University of Texas
Ohio State is almost on an aggy level.
Sometimes it is a good thing to have a brain dead fanbase just as long as it can be controlled
Meyer is an absolute control freak.

Tom Herman's biggest issue here is probably why Urban Meyer wouldn't come anywhere near Austin if he didn't already have a job at Ohio State.
The media...Meyer couldn't control the media here.
Ohio State controls the media in Columbus. You don't have shitty insiders writing any story just for clicks.

Is Matt Rhule tired of the NFL yet
If he had more talent and depth last year at Baylor he would have LSUed OU as well.

Guess Meyer has gotten better after how he damaged USC recruiting last year.
Who is next after Texas
Florida State?
He is still employed at Ohio State after all

however...
1) none of them are in college when they sign this agreement
2) even if they are they can't sign away their rights to a third party when they are under age, much less sign with an agency to manage their rights
Just say IMG has first option .
They are a threat to high school football in Texas especially if endorsements are allowed in the college game
The UIL will have to allow it for high school players as well to keep them from going there
IMG is one of the best in the world at managing talent in multiple things including sports.

motherfucker, you are in the recruiting thread.
most of us who follow this shit even slightly know who they are, and some of us even are aware of the "school" going back to when it was the Bollettieri Tennis Academy or when the home of the residency program for the USSF.
Don't get offended, brother
Called endorsements. They handle the business end of these players.
In exchange for this they direct their players in the right direction to maximize their profits.
Helps Texas or hurts then depending on the position and the success

the hats on Cain's table were Auburn, Georgia, Penn State, Texas and Tennessee.
since 2000 the Penn St RBs drafted were:
- 2003- Larry Johnson #1 overall
- 2007 - Tony Hunt in 3rd Rd (14 career NFL rushing attempts)
- 2011 - Evan Royster in 6th Rd (81 career NFL rushing attempts)
- 2018 - Saquon Barkley #2 overall
- 2019 - Miles Sanders in 2nd rd
let's not act like they have done some insane job of developing dudes and turning them into NFL stars.
When a player plays at IMG he is allowing them to decide what is best for him.
That one year of school doesn't come for free
Research who IMG is and why they started a school.

Uh, Cain definitely had the choice. PSU isn't a particularly dirty recruiting program. Their foibles are more... pedo-y.
Not dirty.
IMG picked Penn State because of their ability to develop RBs
IMG is a talent agency. This includes football. Reason why they opened their school.

That’s all good for me. You can go fuck yourself and your self righteous bullshit that you post every day. You and your narcissistic ass can have your circle jerk of followers who do nothing but bitch and complain like a knitting group of yentas. I won’t comment on your shit and don’t comment on mine.
If he comes here it was what he wanted and he sees Texas as his best option. If he doesn’t, it’s his choice and I will support him wherever he goes. I am not some shallow minded fuckstick like yourself who holds personal grudges against 16 year old who are making life changing decision and enjoying the process. So have a beer and relax. It’s only 6 weeks until spring ball and then you can start bitching about the game plan at the Orange and a white game and how the new coaches are clueless.🤘🏻
Not his choice anymore because of IMG like Noah Cain

IMG is better than street agents IMO
At least you know they will analyze where the best place.for him to capitalize on their investment.
He is playing for IMG for free. They promise that they can develop him better than his HS.
They are his agent now if he makes it to the NFL.

Is Okam actually a target by UNC with an offer or is his name just being dropped.
If it was serious and he wasn't waiting on Texas he would have already taken the job.

We aren't getting Buckner.
Point is that since Georgia and Clemson think they can recruit Texas have to make it reciprocal.
Truthfully need to find somewhere that has their own recruits.
Not like Oklahoma who is more of a leech
Urban Meyer or bust

Meyer has all that already at Ohio State
With his wife not too far from all their friends and family
Meyer isn't coming here.
My choice is Matt Rhule if he learns to stop spitting on himself. But don't think he leaves the NFL.
If the fanbase had a reasonable choice to replace Herman I am all for it.
But no one does. They bought into the Meyer bait.
Don't want to have to come back and tell people in 2 years told you so if we do fire Herman and look like shit when everyone turns us down.
Best move is to wait for a coach because Herman isn't Charlie Strong.
5-7 is far different than 8-10 win seasons
