  1. Stop comparing LSU to UGA. Did you see what LSU did to UGA last year? And yes, I saw Texas dominate UGA and win by 7.
  2. TBH, I'm even skeptical of LSU's new spread offense. It's a big unknown. I'm interested in seeing if Texas' front 7, can stop an LSU run-heavy pro style offense for 4 quarters. But we probably won't see that.
  3. Lol. C'mon bro. Give it a rest with this BS. So we only use the "paper" when it's convenient I see. Cant just admit we have better receivers and running backs? I get it though.
  4. C'mon...I called you out on that soft BS analysis and it turned into this. The truth is, outside Ehlinger, LJ and few starters on defense you really don't know what your team is, that's the reality. They're all good "on paper", but they haven't proved anything on the field. I'm not here to hate on Texas, I just call it like I see it. To be fair, you can say the same thing about LSU's offense. LSU is moving to a spread, that all sounds good especially with a returning QB, 4 & 5-star backs, a returning WR corp, new passing coord. in Joe Brady. But until they do it on the field it's an unknown. Might be great, might be shit. I don't PRETEND to know. Our defense is solidified.
  5. Speaking of road performances, Maryland says what's up. You had that coming.
  6. Lol. You're not going to answer the question? Outside of Ark, all these teams were ranked last season. But hey. A&M was the only loss.
  7. Honest question. Who had a tougher schedule last year? How were those games against Maryland, Baylor, and Tulsa?
  8. It was a lot of dink and dunk passing. Texas only ran for 40 yds in the 2nd half.
  9. True, in regards to Arkansas and A&M. We're better than that. For UCF, half of our defense was literally out that game. We had WRs playing CB. I'll happily take that W.
  10. You're just making excuses for a bad second half performance by Texas. I get it though, you want to protect your team.
  11. TEXAS SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN LIMITED BY KSU. Look, all I'm saying is most good teams try to protect a second half lead by RUNNING the ball. It kills the clock while keeping the defense fresh. All I'm saying is that Texas was unable to do that against KSU. Again, it was a 19 - 14 game with 10 min. in the 4th quarter.
  12. So I am right about Texas vs KSU!
  13. Yes, I'm wrong. You're the "Garbageball" authority. What was I thinking?
  14. Like I said before is was a dink and dunk 2nd half offense because Texas couldn't run the ball effectively. If Texas isn't able to run the ball effectively against LSU, they will play right into the strength of the defense. LSU will be in man-to-man defense. Another thing is Texas' 2 best receivers (CJ & LJH) are big-bodied possession receivers harder for them to create down field separation.
  15. You forgot Miami but I like the confidence.
  16. Nobody chooses to play "Garbageball", Texas just played like 'Garbage' in the 2nd half. Give KSU credit they held Texas to zero points in the 2nd half, while allowing a total of 60 rushing yards with Ehlinger accounting for 24 of those yards.
  17. The REALITY is that KSU shut down Texas' running game making them a one dimensional team. Resulting in a dink and dunk 2nd half offense for ball and clock control. It was a 1 possession game with 10 min. left in the 4th. This wasn't by design; Texas just had a bad game. The fact is, Texas usually forgets to bring their lunch pal against lesser competition (Maryland, Tulsa, Baylor, KSU). This shouldn't be a problem against LSU. I'm interested in seeing how your RBs (specifically Ingram) have progressed this offseason. Texas struggled mightily in the run game last year.
  18. Texas dominated UGA and only beat them by 7 pts, while LSU dominated UGA and beat them by 20 pts. Why is that?
  19. Stop talking about the X's & O's, and talk about the Jimmy's & Joe's. Your whole "analysis" evolves around Orlando & "underdog" Herman scheming something up, but who's executing these schemes. How many new starters will Texas have on defense and offense? How do you know what LSU offensive systems is? How will Texas OL hold up against an experienced defensive front 7? Defensively, how many players will Texas commit to the box to stop the run? How will LSU neutralize Sam Ehlinger as a run threat? How will Texas' inexperienced CBs matchup with LSU's veteran WR corp? Will Texas go zone or man?
