  1. Kalani staying is official. A "new and unprecedented contract".
  2. Speculation is that the NFL candidate is Kellen Moore.
  3. A couple of people I know with connections have heard that if Kalani gets the offer he's gone and one of them heard the offer is coming. Others think he is using this as leverage for a raise for him and assistants and more resources. Hard to know what's what right now. Other updates:
  4. That doesn't top this one, the Barry Switzer sewage treatment plant in Midvale, Utah:
  5. This is a valid point lol
  6. Kalani gettin a raise either way
  7. The P12 and ACC will be better than the Big 12? The new Big 12 has 5 of the current top 16 (AP) teams in it. BYU beat the P12 champs (and 4 other P12 teams). Cinci will be in the playoffs this year. ???
  8. Akshually, BYU won the P12 this year
  9. It's the principle, man
  10. USC has a talented QB ready to go, tho
  11. Doubtful. Slightly awkward, out-of-the-blue moves are kind of on brand for him.
  12. Texas gonna join the SEC sooner than 2025?
  13. Twitter on a roll today lol
  14. You ever been to Hillsburrito, I mean Hillsboro?
  15. Congrats to Baylor. You showed as a talented, well-coached team. You were definitely the better team today and deserved the win. Also, appreciate the warm welcome to the Big 12 given today (off the field). Classy stuff.
  16. Lol (forgive me if already posted):
  17. There's already a movie about this
  18. No good reason. Historically, there have actually been more than 2 shades. Late 1800s the school adopted blue and white as official school colors. Original color was a light blue ("Columbia blue"). A few lighter, brighter shades were seen in the early years. 1950s-60s navy was used. In the 70s, royal blue was adopted. BYU noticed that fans weren't really wearing the school colors much (especially compared to other schools) and the BYU fans in the stands looked like a bowl of "skittles". So, in the early 2000s we let a market research team tell us what to do and they said go navy because people have navy stuff already and more of them will wear it to games (lots of cheap BYU fans unwilling to buy royal stuff didn't help). It worked, as far as getting more people wearing school colors to games, but fans missed the unique royal color and its association with BYU success in the 80s and early 90s (national championship, heisman trophy, top 25 finishes, LaVell Edwards, etc.). Soon after Kalani became head coach he pushed royal because of aforementioned and to signal a return to greatness and brighter future.
  19. Happy Halloween I guess
  20. I love royal blue the most, but these all navy are so clean.
