Yup, it’s glaringly obvious we won’t be given a fair shake when they come to DKR
100% agree. Fully prepared for that to happen.

Posted this on the WVU-TCU game thread, but certainly fits here too. TCU is going to be the conference’s chosen one this season. Expect most close calls and phantom calls to go their way. So fucking obvious. The number of penalties and yardage don’t really matter. You can see it in this game that on big plays for WV the flags come out stopping their momentum. Or they just hold on to them if it benefits TCU.

I guess TCU is going to be the conference’s chosen one this season. Expect most close calls and phantom calls to go their way. So fucking obvious. The number of penalties and yardage don’t really matter. You can see in this game that on big plays for WV there’s been an iffy call or non-call.

Hard disagree.
With all of the injuries, our WR corp is back to what it was at the beginning of last season... Brennan Presley and a bunch of walkons. PLUS Spencer Sanders isn't 100% and our defense is way, way worse.
Saturday will be ugly. Mark my words.

You all would have lost your fucking minds if that was Ewers and the same no call was made. It’s hilarious how you guys think you’re above it. Shouldn’t expect anything less, I guess. It’s human nature.
I agree it’s not targeting (or shouldn’t be) but the reason ISU fans and Campbell are so pissed is because we’ve had guys ejected for less about 5 or 6 times the last few years.
There is absolutely 0 clarity or consistency in how targeting is ruled or enforced. It’s made up on the spot, game to game crew to crew. -

I remember one time I was trying to bang a girl that lived in Jester and wanted to impress her with a cookie cake for her bday. I went to Dobe (if I remember correctly)and bought the cookie cake and walked back to Jester with it. I get to her room and mother fucker, she already had two BIGGER cookie cakes sitting there already partially eaten. Needless to say I didn't get laid.
So I will forever be triggered by cookie cakes.

All the teams I hate are good. All the teams I love are bad to mediocre. This applies to football, baseball, and basketball. I’m down to the point where I’m just going to start recording the games and watch if my team wins and delete if they lose. I’ll just save myself the agony. This is the only solution. So…yes to your question. I’m out of fucks to give.

Once again, said this last year…the chart is simply for comic relief. I know it doesn’t factor in the timing of the calls. The number of times we’ve been screwed on phantom calls or non-calls over the past decade or so is too many to remember at this point. In summary, of course the chart doesn’t tell the whole story…but it definitely tells A STORY.

Not to create a ton more work, but do you happen to have the totals for non-con/bowl games? Would be interesting if these seemingly very undisciplined Longhorn teams suddenly get it under control when the crew isn't from the Big 12.
I think I did actually look at this last year. And I’m pretty sure that the calls weren’t nearly as lopsided in non-conference games. Like I remember there being a definite difference.

this leaves out a lot of context. There has been such a consistent trend of situationally significant calls that go against Texas that anytime something good/great happens for Texas that my first reaction is to expect a flag after a big offensive gain or touchdown, etc.
Yeah no shit. But even this chart in its simplest form is crazy to look at. If I felt like taking the time to factor in the timing of the calls or non-calls that change the outcome of critical drives or the games themselves…it would look much worse.

Sorry for the early start on this thread but this game has some big implications for all involved but personally this matchup was the first college football game I ever attended with a Jr High group in 2008. I had already hated a&m for as long as I remembered but seeing them get demolished in their own stadium was better than I could imagine. To boot I will also be at this game after being invited by some season ticket holders who made me swear I would not actively cheer against them. To combat this I will wear my new App State shirt under my shirt and debut it sometime in the second half if Miami can manage to go up big.
Enjoy
After you reveal the App State shirt, you need to yank that one off Mack-style and reveal the golden Hook’em shirt.
