If something is a “whoa!!” for you and you don’t think you’re one of the board idiots, then that is something different. There are no current worries in that regard, btw.

Why would we hire a British coach??? They play a completely different type of football there.

Speaking of which, I wonder if Bobby Slowik wants a gig this coming season.

If I can think of the best possible place to find an answer to that question, about a kid from a boston prep school, who is the son of a boston hockey player, it's a football message board in Texas. The second best place might be Pinterest.

I've always thought the Big 12 breeds the most creative/cutting edge coaches, for whatever reason. Texas always got other teams' best shots, and they would scheme specifically for Texas--with trick plays/tendency challenges/etc. that reflected some pretty high level coaching, even if the athletes on the field left something to be desired.
I think we saw similar coaching from Dillingham last week--the fake punt, HB pass, and defensive stunting that we were not prepared for.
For that reason, I think it behooves everyone to pay attention to the Big 12, as a lot of the most successful CFB concepts have come out of the conference in the last 25 years.

I had no idea that player existed.
A&M has mastered the ability to have quantum football players. They exist and don't exist, both, at the same time.

Two things: the portal/transfer stuff was spun off and for the most part, we are no longer desperate and trying to constantly ignore mediocrity with pages upon pages devoted to chicken fried steak.
Sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion.

Total pipe dream. But does Gundy want to come be our offensive analyst/special assistant a la Paul Chryst. That dude always has good ideas; he just doesn't always have the players to execute his good ideas (and I recognize that, as a head coach, the latter is his fault/issue).
