Wemby just hit three threes in a row in addition to an alley oop. Going full god mode. Incredible to watch.

Voted 9 wins. Will be difficult to win at Bama and unfortunately I expect a let down and/or referee shenanigans in the BU, TCU, or Iowa State games.
Regardless, we make the Big 12 Championship game and win it on our way out. Clutching of pearls, shrieks of pain, and the 5 stages of grief consume the Big 12 offices.

Pop and Tony finalists for the Hall of Fame. Set to join with Timmy and Manu who entered in the past few years. What an amazing twenty year stretch we all experienced.

Reminds me of the old quote, “when people show you who they are, believe them.” Dykes and the roaches are showing their priorities here, basically reuniting the Briles staff. I’m sure old “let’s just talk about football” himself will be hanging around Fort Worth regularly.

Voted in central San Antonio today. Went around 7 on a Saturday so I didn’t expect many people. Wife and I both agreed it felt great to vote against every Republican and for every Democrat. Fuck the GQP.

This is beyond bizarre and completely out of left field. Let the speculation begin…
Some options:
1. Fucked a teammate’s wife? Oh no. That clearly won’t get you waived.
2. Got a dui? Uh no, especially if you’re the gm and you have low blood sugar.
3. Sexual assault? Leave that one up to the owners not the players. I don’t think that one ever came out publicly so let’s just move on even though it’s one of the worst kept secrets in San Antonio.
4. Go full on OJ? That would do it but I imagine we would have heard something from the legal system first.
5. Failure to get over yourself? That would probably just merit some extra time in Austin.
This really has got to be something horrible.
I know the stories about 1 and 2, but what happened with 3? Could you refresh my memory?

He’s a better coach than Strong and a better recruiter(and not as big an asshole) than Herman. Sark is safe as long as he gets to a bowl and Arch signs his NLI in December. Either of those don’t happen and this might be it. I hope not because I like the guy and I like his story.Well said. I thought we would go 8-4 this year and win our bowl. We are still at least a year away, probably two. It sucks to say but is the reality I’m afraid. I hate to say it, but I would take 8-4 in a heartbeat at this point.
I really like Steve personally, too. I must say I remain concerned about blowing these first half leads. I worry that the adjustments at half time are not working, if any are being made at all. -
Thanks for posting. Had been looking for the press conference.
Can’t say it made me feel any better.

Me too. And it was a completely classless (or aggy) move. The event was to celebrate A&M-Commerce winning the national championship for D3 or whichever level. Then they bring out Jimbo and completely overshadow the celebration. The A&M-Commerce coach and team should have been furious. Such a pathetic display.

8-4
I usually drink the kool-aid but am trying to be realistic. We replaced a third of the roster which was much-needed. The team will be talented but young. Honestly we are at least a year away, probably two. I want to see the team improve as the season progresses. That will be a good sign that the players have bought in to the coaches. We end the season winning the Alamo or some similar bowl and have momentum going into 2023. Obviously I will be thrilled if we surpass my prediction.

Another horrific point is that two of the five justices who struck down Roe and Casey have been accused of sexual misconduct, to put it mildly.

Restart the pipe dream
As a former Oiler fan, I’ve seen this story before and know how it ended. However, so have Rangers’ fans. Team demands a new stadium despite its current one being relatively new. Very different result.
Bring back the Oilers. I know it’s been said many times on this site, but it’s awful that the Titans kept the Houston history. Have tried but just have never felt the same affection for the Texans.

It literally couldn't be anyone else. Only one coach has ever blown a 3-1 lead more than once: Doc. THREE times. 3 of the 13 blown 3-1 leads in NBA history belong to Doc. He's about to paint his masterpiece.
