  1. Overall (with the exception of a few), these chefs aren’t that creative. Quite a few are just making shit they normally do and try to shoehorn it into the challenge.

It was cool to see Phillip Foss eat with the judges in the chaos challenge. I’ve had some memorable meals, and EL Ideas is certainly near the top of that list.

I donated enough this season to get 6 OU tickets, but the site is saying I can only request 4 OU tickets. Guess I'll call next week to have them unplug it and plug it back in again.

I had the same issue. Called the ticket office today and they instantly fixed it.

  3. I actually like what Mitchell brings to the team.  He is averaging 10 PTS and 7.7 TRB and is defending well.  His free throw shooting is up to 69% in conference, which is a huge improvement over his 40% free throw last year.  He gives us a nice burst of energy and is a good complement to Shedrick who is a little slow footed.  Mitchell is also someone who can really run the floor and is good for a few highlight dunks every game.  I'm not convinced that this is our last year with him on the roster - and I really hope he comes back.
The team has plenty of good pieces.  The most important one is Hunter. If he is attacking the basket and hitting a few 3s, we can beat anybody, even if Abmas or Disu aren't playing well.

Agreed…also, one of the great things about college hoops is seeing guys improve over time. I am not saying Dillon will ever be shooting lights out, but he is a much better player than he was last year, and I would expect that to continue if he sticks around.
  4. Why does this feel like a game that *should* be in the bag for us but feels like ou is going to come in and shoot lights out?

I don’t think any game where we have to rely on Shedrick/Onyema as our only bigs is an in the bag game. I hope I’m wrong!
  5. We played a nearly flawless first half and Baylor hung around thanks to Bridges and FT shooting. I didn’t think we would hold on, but losing Disu is just a real downer. He absolutely had to give us some minutes last night - Shedrick/Onyema are not beating any decent team. I’ve seen a few comments saying Disu shouldn’t have been playing in the first place, which is really a moronic take, IMO. Nobody can foresee a non-contact knee injury.

  6. Wait until 1-3 days before. If you have multiple strong traveling fan bases that are in one session together you may end up paying a little more than face. If not, you will probably pay pennies on the dollar.

I went to Des Moines last year - prices did not really drop for the first round early session with Kansas and Arkansas in it, but for ours (which also had Colgate, Aggy, and Penn St), tickets were much cheaper.

  7. Wake Forwr fans can get fucked.  *This* is the Duke team you are going to rush the court on?

This is two incidents in the last couple of weeks now.  Just let the visiting team get off the court then rush.  If you don’t then, well I don’t know what the right penalty is. Maybe the coach has to sit out 3 games.  It’s not the coache’s fault but it wil put some incentive into n for coach to talk to crowd ahead of big games.

Yeah, I don’t know what the solution is - college kids aren’t going to care about the school getting fined?

maybe just make them ineligible for the conference tournament? Seems harsh but I don’t know what is appropriate and also a deterrent.
