Football, baseball, basketball, and track would be my guess and it’s still super common at smaller schools.
**edit: beaten by @Hornlover by seconds. Dammit.

four sports seems like a lot.
Depends on the school. How big is Pilot Point? I went to a 3A school (was 2A when I was there) and lettered in 6 sports.

@Bam Bam Sam appears to have the best source of anyone right now. Show some respect and pay attention to his takes.

Ewers would have had better ball placement.

We wanted him. It's a loss for Texas, but that is okay. He's a kid we'll keep contacting and maintain a strong relationship with throughout the cycle while we pursue the multiple other prospects left on the board. Most of our targets in the secondary are still on the market. There's no reason to spin it as anything other than a strikeout by us, and simultaneously no reason to worry right now. I'm not sure how the recruitment went down, but I agree with what @golfclap said to have been a big factor. I don't think he liked being penciled into Texas' 22 class for so long largely because his brother was there, undoubtedly with some negative recruiting having exaggerated that emotion. The same thing happened to Kelvontay Dixon, who would have signed with Arkansas had that religious zealot Morris not gotten shitcanned.
Is that what the coaches told you? Or is that what the 9.95ers told you?

I choose to take the hullaby situation as a good thing and as a sign that the coaches feel really good about better prospects! 🤘 Hook 'em!

? They have Raleek and could possibly land Gavin Sawchuk.
They are supposedly signing raleek as more of a WR than a true RB.

The best part is how BlowU will scream "We don't care about texsa at all!" While they are throwing said horns down.

Clearly we're getting both of them.
I mean...that could totally work. I know it's not going to happen, but if ewers is as good as advertised, and if Murphy knows he needs work and is willing to sit and learn for a few years, you could have ewers stay for 3 years and start 2, then you could have a redshirt Murphy take over for 2 years after sitting and learning behind card/Thompson for 1 year and ewers for 2 years.

Ideally still 4, right? Stewart, Winfield, Williams, and headhunt more speed. Maybe Winfield looks around. As long as you end up with Stewart who could be a star and is physically close to ready, and Williams who could backup Omeire early (whatever his role will be), I think it’s a win. Filling out with any of the aforementioned would be terrific.
If we’re going to overallocate, I’d prefer the secondary. It will be a big group of upperclassmen next season, and idk that I’m really excited about relying on the incoming class logging a ton of starting snaps. Let’s stack secondary athletes and let guys lower on the depth chart take advantage of their opportunity at Alcorn St. OL could use an extra tackle or 5. Cannot sacrifice a rb or interior dl. Going to need 2 kinds of end. Yeah, WR is not the place to take an extra, imo.Absolutely cannot turn Coleman or Thompson away.
