This, uh, isn’t the CR and I’m not really sure how the origin of the virus is political at all, but keep on making aggy blush with that victim complex.

No, I didn’t. Because I wasn’t lampooning the entire premise that it came out of a Chinese lab or whatever. I was lampooning the idea that a single YouTube interview with Joe Rogan is rock solid evidence that this is obviously a man made disaster and that it’s “absurd” this virus did what so many have done before it. We’re all shitposting on a college football board, and whatever went down, we’ll never know even the half of it.

It isn't a single interview with Rogan. No one is saying that. That guy is one of the many WHO advisors who want to find out the origin of the virus and were denied and/or deceived by China for doing so. Mountains of evidence of a cover-up, destroying databases, imprisoning journalists & scientists. And since every single thing in this country is politicized that guy leans left (as do I). The Chinese have to be laughing their ass off at how polarized we've become and they're going to capitalize on that as much as they can.

I still can't find a reason why some people are reluctant to address the mountain of evidence this came from a lab other than it would somehow come out as a win for Trump and his ilk.

Cancel culture strikes again. If you can’t force your employees to strip down to their underwear and hug each other to build character, America is dead. What’s next? No more power lunches? No more Hiring women for their breast size? No more Masturbating on a plane?

I think cancel culture is more of ruining someone's life and ability to earn a living because they voted for someone you don't like or said the word 'retard' or whatever at an office party 12 year ago.

lol infectious diseases have been jumping between species since the dawn of time but that’s the stretch, not the man made conspiracy and coverup. K.

Maybe it did, maybe it didn’t. Neither I nor anyone on this site knows anything close to the whole origin story and I’m not sure I care at this point. But the logic above is laughable. Seriously, I don’t know how y’all write this stuff with a straight face.

Why the resistance to the evidence it came from a lab? Is this purley political? For example:if the lab scenario is true that somehow puts a point on the scoreboard for Trump. Genuinely curious.

At this point there the evidence shows it leaked from a lab & China is continuing an ongoing cover-up.

Not sure what in my post was walking on eggshells. I called out fact that it’d been since Halloween that Travis co was <100 cases, made an estimate that hospitalizations would drop <200 by mid next week, I said I was really glad to see the low cases, said Wow with an extra exclamation point just for good measure. Not sure how that is eggshells. I felt my exuberance practically leapt off the screen. I’m a bit of an introvert so my read could be wrong.

Sorry, more of a rhetorical question. Seems people are restrained when talking about positive news related to the pandemic bc of all the political binary bs involved.

I have bad dreams about being bald, so my vanity runs in that direction. I should be a fat fucker, but I've always had the metabolism of a 20 year old.  I'd still say though being bald is better than being a fat fuck.

I mean Clooney goes from international sex symbol to looking like a creepy uncle in that pic. And weight for the most part is calories in, calories out. You prob don't eat like a fat fuck.

fat is way way worse than being bald.

jean luc picard/sean connery/bruce willis - still considered handsome and desirable with little to no hair

John Candy/Chris Farley - never considered a hunk

but the number one turn off/turn on for women, hands down is height. Looks, hair and weight are not even in the same ballpark as height for women's attractiveness to males.

What is the manlet cutoff height?

Wow!! 91 cases today for Travis County. Crazy low. It has been since 10/31 that we have been <100 cases. Really glad to see. 26 admits today. 235 people in the hospital. Current course/speed I would estimate that by Wednesday we are <200 in the hospital.

Ashton Alana McCluskey has been charged with two counts of sexual conduct with a student under the age of 17

An Alabama junior high school teacher has been arrested and accused of sexually abusing a minor student.

Ashton Alana McCluskey had been a 7th grade math teacher at Brooks High School since 2017, according to AL.com. The married 26-year-old — a former cheerleader at the University of Alabama — was also a private cheer coach at the 490-student school. She had attended the same high school as a student when she was growing up.

But McCluskey was put on administrative leave in January after allegations arose that she had sex with a student.

Last month, she was charged with two counts of sexual conduct with a student under the age of 17. She turned herself in on Wednesday and was later released on $50,000 bond.

WAFF-TV reports someone connected with the case is related to an employee at the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office. To avoid a conflict of interest, McCluskey's case was assigned to the State Bureau of Investigation.

If convicted, McCluskey faces up to 20 years in prison. She has not yet entered a plea, and arrest documents do not name an attorney authorized to speak on her behalf.
